🐻: Looking back on March seems like just yesterday and April has sneakily ended. We all expect the end of the month to bring us a sense of closure and hope the next month is better than the last, so let’s say a nice goodbye to April~
~Today’s TMI~
OP just finished their middle school exams and didn’t do as well as they had hoped. They asked kun if he has any advice to improve quickly in a short amount of time/memorizing tactics
🐻: Good luck on your exams! Hope you can get the score you want~ as far as +
+ memorizing goes…I think waking up early in the morning is the best time to memorize things. So you can try waking up half an hr to 1 hr before class to review/memorize and I’m sure you’ll remember a lot!
~New KPOP w/ LaiLai~
🐻: earlier in the TMI segment someone asked if there are any good methods to memorizing
🎵: As an arts student I don’t memorize whole chunks of text - only key points/phrases like stats or the 1st word of every excerpt.
🐻: oh? Then you’ll be able to remember the rest of the passage?
🎵: uhhhhhhh hahaha of course the paragraph can’t be too long 😂 if it’s short enough and only has one key concept it’s ok. You can also try re-ordering the way you memorize things fit your logic
🐻: that’s not a bad idea! I remember when I had to memorize things I couldn’t find a systematic way other than getting up early and forcing myself to memorize haha
🎵: for me, associating a keyword or something said in class I can remember the content +
🎵: reviewing/studying is important, but listening in class is important as well, so be sure you pay attention in class!
🐻: haha yesss everyone listen well and follow these suggestions!
[1st song: “LOVE” by Monsta X]
LaiLai talked about how this song shows the group’s continuous love for fans; a love they can’t hide. He also said the MV featured a lot of scenes on a stage receiving prices not only because that’s the most direct place they can interact with +
+ fans but also because prizes/awards are obtained with the hard work/support of many many people.
They also talked about how the members participated in this album and Joohoney was in charge of the title track per usual. The past 3 TT have different concepts/vibes, but you can +
+ tell his signature style is in it. LL mentioned how the other members participated in the b-sides as well!
[2nd song: “Walking Through the Moon” by Lee Su Jeong]
🎵: people might be unfamiliar with the singer Lee Su Jeong, but if I say Lovelyz’s BabySoul people might be more familiar! This is her first mini album and solo debut using her real name
LaiLai talked about this song wants to express that every night that passes, the next day is an opportunity to be born anew similar to how she’s transitioning from a group member to a soloist. Lee Su Jeong also participated in writing all the album. This song makes you want to+
+ dance, but LaiLai said Lee Su Jeong chose not to have choreography because she wanted everyone to focus more on the music itself!

[3rd song: “Creature” by E’LAST]
LaiLai talked about how this concept is talking about a new worldview as werewolves. After going through sad/heartbreaking experiences, they aren’t able to shake this, so it turns them into passionate beasts different from their previous selves
LaiLai talked about the possible origins of the group’s name and said it could be a combo of the group’s vision of eternity and infinity in time and space and how they’ll be besides their fans forever through music
[4th song: “Business” by SOYOU ft. BE’O]
LaiLai talked about how this album “Day and Night” portrays her thoughts throughout the day and night. There are 2 title tracks and “Business” is associated with the night and Kun mentioned it’s easy to tell from the MV. They also talked+
+ about how this album had a lot of featured artists like Jung Yonghwa on “Some” (which is on the ‘day’ side of the album). LL talked briefly about BE’O was in top 3 on SMTM10 and has impressive rapping skills which complements Soyou’s ballad style very nicely.
~New KPOP News~
[KPOP News 1]: Idols’ expressions onstage have been the focus of concert experiences
🎵: before I get into it, I want to ask KunD - when you’re on stage performing whether singing or dancing, how do you capture the focus/(camera)lens?
🐻: firstly, you have to sing and express the vibe/concept of the song well. Then, looking directly at the camera adds points too. If the camera has a red light you can look at it…honestly when the camera is on you you can kinda tell
🎵: ohh like a sixth sense in this profession
🐻: the camera is pretty close haha you can see if the lens is zoomed in or out. Idk if everyone else can but I can tell if it’s facing me or not haha…(to LaiLai) omg don’t look up my photos right now that’d be so awkward 😂
Oh wait maybe that was to PD jie and not LL LOL bc Kun was like “PD jie outside right now trying to look it up” probably to show on the screens for Kun and LaiLai 😂
🐻: I think I’m not bad at finding the camera!
LaiLai talked about how trainees go through performance expression training and staff will randomly raise hands to act as cameras and train their reflexes. Pre-p*ndemic, there was a big focus on synchronized dance movies, but after p*ndemic happened, pre-recorded stages were+
+ more common, so expressions on stage and to camera were a huge part of performances so they put more focus/training on that.
🐻: for us, although the company doesn’t request it, we’ll think “how do I want my expressions to look like when I’m singing this line onstage?”
🐻: we think about what expression would be better…sometimes the camera doesn’t capture your whole body maybe only your upper half or face only, so your expression is really important!
🎵: There’s something else rly important which is “ending fairy”!
🎵: last year including Key’s “ending fairy” parody everyone not only focused on the performance itself but the ending fairy as well
🐻: haha for “ending fairy” at first everyone wanted to look cool, but little by little we were thinking about how to make it fun 😂
🐻: that made it more fun hahaha everyone likes to watch those!
🎵: one time Renjun said he was in charge of “ending fairy” and PD jiejie asked if he could make it more fun so he asked his members to help him hahaha so they all created a really fun ending~
🐻: hahah I watched SHINee hyung’s ending fairys before they’re all so fun 😂
🎵: this is true LOL Key has soooo many ideas
[KPOP news 2]
LL said this is not new news, but kpop has been one of the main motivations for learning korean worldwide
🎵: including this program, there are many who are diligently helping translate
🐻: that’s right! No matter if it’s into english, korean, indonesian, etc.
🐻: once again I want to express my gratitude…idk what # this is that I’m mentioning it but want to say it again! because of them, even more audiences around the world can hear/understand our akdong seoul
🐻: Thank you to all the fans who help with translations! Because of you all, more people around the world are able to know us so we’re very thankful~
(T/N: aw so sweet :’))) ty for the shoutout kun & lailai! even if they prob don’t kno about us on twt lmao 🧡)
🐻: our program is coming to an end today~ Lastly, we’ll play a song I’ve really really been liking lately which is Clairo’s “Amoeba”. See you next week~ bye bye!

🐻: Everyone who appears in your dreams does for a reason. Those you like bring you warmth and courage. Those you like teach you how to love, those you don’t like teach you tolerance and respect~

🐻: the road to school/work often feels long and tiring especially if you have to take public transportation. Have you ever missed your stop before? Send in messages to let us know~

🐻: Flowers blossom and wither as the sun rises and sets. Just like life, there are ups and downs so the key is how we deal with this and prepare for when the wave of success comes
Now playing “The Spring” by JEONG EUN JI ft. Hareem
~opening~
🐻: There’s a saying that goes “a minute on stage takes 10 years of training/hard work off stage”. For minutes of spectacular performances, everyone has to work very hard. Likewise, you have to prepare/study a lot for exams beforehand. How do you relax after exams?
🐻: Mid-term exams should have mostly concluded by now! How did our listeners do? I believe our listeners are all very smart and must have done quite well. No matter the results, as long as you gave it your all, there’s nothing to regret! Hope everyone got the score they wanted~
~opening~
🐻: when you feel tired/down, what do you do to re-energize yourself? When you’re tired, there’s nothing sleep can’t fix. Everyone who has worked hard this whole week must get a good night’s rest after today’s akseo program to be energized for the (upcoming) week!
~opening~
🐻: Sometimes people say hard work isn’t rewarded accordingly and sometimes it can’t give you the reward you want at the moment, but you have to believe that every hardship on the road of life is worth it and contributes to paving the way to a better future!
