🐻: ah right I think it it was LaiLai who told me his parents watch/listen to every broadcast…so whenever I make him do aegyo I’m like fkdfsljd bc I suddenly remember his parents are also watching…😅

🐻: eyyy nooo I can’t imagine that 😂 in front of my mom I’m a very calm person/image…if I suddenly did aegyo…nonono I can’t take it 😂 so anyway what’s the topic today?

Anyway OP wanted to thank their parents for giving them continuous energy and said that they’re irreplaceable but are sorry that they had to restart their freshman university year and promise to work hard. OP said thanks for akseo for giving them the opportunity to express their+

Next OP said it’s been a while since they’ve written a letter to their parents and said although they’re grown up sometimes they act like a mischievous child and don’t listen well. OP found an old photo w/ their sister and parents and felt nostalgic and full of gratitude

🤓: I think it’s really surprising. The surprising thing is I really look like my father
🐻: me too! My mom was sooo pretty back then~ I saw a photo when she was 16 and her smile is really like mine

🤓: are you more like your mom?
🐻: well, both! When I smile I look really similar to my mom and I saw a photo of my dad when he was 20 something about my age and he looked like me- wait no I looked like him 😂

🐻: hahaha no really tho my dad was super handsome when he was young and my mom was really cute~
🤓: thinking of our parents when they were young you often think about what stories they had from back then

🐻: right our parents weren’t our parents at (their) birth they only learned how to be good parents after they gave birth to us
🤓: right and sometimes things in life make them become more mature and wise~

Next OP wanted to say sorry they didn’t get their mom a birthday gift and promised they’d save up money to buy them something nice later~

Guozhen said paired with the bgm he feels like he’s tearing up and kun was like if it gets too much for us we can turn it off 😆 then guozhen was like “Isn’t this the beauty of music, though? just by simply accompanying with music it can make us feel emotions strongly”

Kun said it’d be a totally different feel if PD jiejie played happy/fast music like Kick Back 😂

Next OP said they got into high school with top scores but had time adapting and making friends and were scared to go to school. Once they found a notebook full of notes their mom+

+ wrote for them about tips she found online on adapting well to high school life and making friends. She remember seeing her mom up late at night scribbling something but didn’t know what it was until then and was moved to tears. OP is really thankful for their parents’ love~

🤓: there are different types of love our parents give us some might be grand gestures but others are expressed silently

🐻: this reminds me of my parents back then when they worked really hard in order to raise me…including their continuous support when I wanted to pursue an artistic career. They never once went against me and just said “as long as you’re happy (that’s what matters)”

🐻: including when I was a trainee and times were tough and tiring, my mom just said “as long as you’re happy. If you’re not, (it’s okay) just come home”

🤓: most of my stories I know of are brainwashed by my parents LOL

Guozhen talked about how his dad said he carried him to the hospital but Guozhen was skeptical like “??? Were you even able to carry me back then because now even holding my dog a few minutes is difficult how did u get so far” 😂

Guozhen said when we have the opportunity to spend time with our parents we should +

Kun was reading the next msg and got flustered when the bgm suddenly came in lol. OP were raised by their grandparents and said she doesn’t hold any grudge against their parents +

+ for not being there because they know theyre making money to give OP a better life and future. OP said it doesn’t matter how much money they make but just hope they’re taking care of themselves outside and will work hard to get into a good university to not disappoint them~

🐻: I’m okay I’m okay haha I also hope the p*ndmic will end soon as well in this new year so we have more time to spend with family. Like those of us who are working overseas it’s not easy (spending time with family) as well~

🤓: when we’re little sometimes our parents will spend lots of time away from us in order to work and when the kids get older, they’ll be the ones spending time away to work, so I think when parents and children happen to be together, we need to spend the time we have together +

🐻: bc of the p*ndemic, I was always at home with my parents haha no matter what I did my parents were there 😂

🐻: nooo haha we’re fine. Sometimes I comment on my mom’s nagging on video calls 😂 but we’re all good when we’re together haha. This time when I went back I watched dramas and movies with them, drove out to places with nice scenery to take photos, etc. I was really happy~ +

🐻: I really spent the full 2 weeks with them this time hahaha I was really happy. Usually when I go back I’ll make plans with my friends but this time I couldn’t so it created a good opportunity to spend time with my parents! Did u kno we finished a game in 2 nights LOL

Next OP said their parents nagging everyday about studying hard and getting into a good college to get a good job was a big stressor for them, but even when they didn’t into their college of choice, OP’s parents were actually really supportive and consoling and called them+

+ so OP said hearing their father’s words of encouragement were really heartwarming

🐻: whenever I’m tired, my mom often says “as long as you’re happy it’s okay” and often asks me and- *gets choked up* and asks me if I have thoughts of giving up and- *gets emotional again* and then I’ll say “no I want to keep going.”
