@MagdalenaScharf, @cory_p_johnson, @paulamlcr and I have been tinkering in private for the last few months ~ I've enjoyed many early morning (PST 😖) zooms, with many more to come. But what we've got brewing, has me so excited.

We're following in the footsteps of the first transatlantic ECI GPCR symposium which was beautifully organized by @NicoleAPerry1 @cyclic_Andreas @DesislavaNeshe1 @BenderSci

Our goals are simple: bring together early career GPCR researchers in North America and Europe with leaders in the field of GPCR research from both continents. Give them opportunities to present their work and network, and do it all for FREE so 💰 is not a barrier.

I think we nailed it. We covered academia, biotech and industry with @AashishManglik @Chris_de_Graaf @joann_trejo @srikosuri Jana Selent and Martha Sommer. We will open up channels for any trainees to post questions as we get closer to the meeting.

We will be choosing 15 talks from the submitted poster abstracts over 5 thematic sessions. In addition, we'll have two poster sessions to give people plenty of time to discuss science 🤓 ~ we're asking each poster presenter to make a 1' "elevator pitch" too.

We will have prizes (thanks again to our wonderful sponsors) for best oral presentation, best poster presentation and best elevator pitch 🤑
