What is KSHOBHA?

In our day to day life also we come across several types of Kshobha including Maanasika Kshobha, SANKATA paristhithi

What do we do? do we succumb?

we live with it; we fight back...+

Life by its very nature is a mixture of both good and bad and to live ever adjusting ourselves avoiding bad and striving to linger in the experience of good is to live un-intelligently. +

In Bhagawad Geeta, Sri Krishna gives a call to everyone to discard his defeatist mentality and face wholeheartedly and sincerely the situations in the every green field of his life at every given moment of his existence. +

Lord Sri Krishna gives a divine call to Man to discard his melancholy dejections in the face of life’s challenges and to come forward to play as best as he can ‘the game of life’ with a firm determination to strive and to win.

Humans are no exception to Kshobha; even Devatas have undergone Kshobha whenever they were attacked/defeated by Asuras. For examle, Prahlada Raayaru/Pandavas how many times he/they underwent Kshobha? +

Did Bhagavantha take birth the moment a Raakshasa is born?

Did DEvatas/Prahlada Rayaru/Pandavas lose faith in Bhagavantha?

Every time they approached Bhagavantha, they were protected;

Are we approaching Bhagavantha with faith/trust/proper anusandhana? +

What did Lord Sri Krishna assure in Bhagwad Geeta?

ananyaAshchintayanto maAm yE janaaHaa paryupaAsate |
tEshaAm nityaAbhiyuktaAnaam yogakshEmam vahaAmyaHam ||

(Bhagawadgita 9th Canto sloka # 22) +

> What is Ananya Bhakti?

Ananya means 'no' anya, single minded devotion (emphasis on Ananya Bhakti), exclusive devotion/faith towards the Supreme God Sri Hari Sarvottama; +

For such people the Supreme God;
the one and the only Reality,
the One Who has saved Ambarish, Draupadi, Gajendra, Prahlada etc. etc...
is giving an assurance, openly proclaiming that, He would take care of their welfare (Yoga/KshEma); +

In whatever name one may call, Rama, Krishna, Narasimha, Venkateswara.... He is VISHNU the Supreme God who is #KSHOBHANO DEVAA...

Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Stothram (sloka # 41) eulogizes Lord Vishnu as #KSHOBHANO DEVAA -

#Kshobhana is one of the attributes of the Supreme God who is/who creates #Kshobha, who is a terror; who creates agitation in the hearts of the wicked.

At the same time He is #AKSHOBHYA the one who is unperturbed; +

aArtaa vishHaNNaaH shitHilaashcha bhiitaaH
ghoresHhu cha vyaAdhishhu varttamaAnaaH |
sa.nkiirtya naAraayaNa sHabda maatraM
viMukta duHkhaaH sukHino bhaVanti ||

Whenever one is worried, Sad, Broken, Afraid, Severely ill, Heard bad things; in all such cases... +

He (the Lord) will take care of those who recite/sing the divine name #NAARAAYANA.

Above sloka which forms part of Phala Stuti of Sri Vishnu Sahasranama Stothram where in the Supreme God Vishnu Himself is giving an assurance. +

In Sri Raghavendra Stothra, Sri Appanaacharyaru beautifully describes Life as....

ಸಂಸಾರೆ ಅಕ್ಷಯಸಾಗರೆ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿತೋಗಾಧೇ ಸದಾ ದುಸ್ತರೇ |
ಸರ್ವಾವದ್ಯಜಲಗ್ರಹೈರನುಪಮೈಃ ಕಾಮಾದಿಭಂಗಾಕುಲೇ |
ನಾನಾ ವಿಭ್ರಮದುರ್ಭ್ರಮೇಮಿತಭಯಸ್ತೋಮಾದಿಘೇನೋತ್ಕಟೇ |
ದುಃಖೋತ್ಕೃಷ್ಟವಿಷೇ ಸಮುದ್ಧರ ಗುರೋ ಮಾಂ ಮಗ್ನರೂಪಂ ಸದಾ || +

In all such circumstances,
Take shelter in Sri GuruRaayaru🙏antargata Sri BharatiRamana MukhyaPranaAntargata - Bhagawan Vishnu (Sri Lakshmi Narasimha/Sri Venkateswara)

Did we forget that mighty Vaayu (Lord Hanuman) the Praana dEva can save us out from sankanta paristhithi?

In olden days Kings used to conduct SHANTI #BRAHMOTSAVAM at #Tirumala Kshethra for the welfare, peace & prosperity of people living in their kingdoms. It is held especially as a #remedy for draught, famine, fear of war, calamities & other mundane problems etc. +
