Fellas and Fellines, it is well known that NAFO is a pain in the ass for ᵣussian propaganda. We're strategic enemies of the autocratic axis. And they evolve. So we should evolve too, as a group and individuals. 🧵
How Triangulation Attacks Work Against Groups
A triangulation attack involves multiple agents pretending to be on different sides of a conflict, pulling the group apart by amplifying opposing views. The attackers might present themselves as members, supporters, or even critics of the group. The goal? To force people into picking sides, amplifying divisions until trust breaks down.
Even knowing that Bullshit A and Bullshit B are both classified as Bullshit - with each representing polarized, opposing ideas - NAFO's natural drive to find the truth and seek justice actually makes it easier for attackers to exploit the situation. As Fellas are designed in a biolab to fight against any bullshit, brain activity, and involvement are inevitable, making distractions from the main NAFO objective even more effective.
In group attacks, attackers don’t need to outnumber the group. Even just two or three agents can create enough chaos to make a whole community implode. They fake conflicts, spread misinformation, and manipulate members into fabricated disputes, leading to mistrust, isolation, and the eventual breakdown of the group.
Phases of a Group Triangulation Attack
1. The Setup
Attackers enter the group and establish themselves as trusted members. They may take on different roles - one might be a friendly new member who just wants to help, while another could present themselves as an aggressive instigator, stirring minor conflicts. The idea is to build trust and subtly introduce tension. During this time, they gather information about key figures, identifying those with influence and learning about existing issues or divisions that can be exploited.
2. The Game
Once the agents are embedded and trusted, they initiate actions to create chaos. This involves staging fake arguments or exaggerating small issues, often involving multiple agents who appear to be on opposite sides. The agents might encourage members to take sides, making every minor disagreement seem like a major conflict. By amplifying disputes and creating visible divisions, they generate distrust and confusion within the group. The goal is to bounce members back and forth, making the atmosphere so toxic that genuine members start doubting each other and the group's purpose.
3. The Takedown
With the group now filled with doubt and mistrust, the attackers push towards a final breakdown. Key figures may be targeted more directly - rumors may be spread to discredit them, isolating them from others. Members start to withdraw, some may even leave the group entirely, and the attackers work to justify and deepen these divisions. The ultimate aim is to fragment the group to the point where it becomes ineffective, breaking the bonds of trust so thoroughly that members no longer cooperate or feel motivated to stay engaged.
TL;DR: As Dugin once said,
"Without Ukraine, ᵣussia cannot become an empire."
True. Because it was Ukrainian engineers, especially at KB Yuzhne ("КБ Південне"), who developed the ICBMs for the Soviets, which ᵣussia now struggles to maintain and modernize.
🧵👇 Long read?
Jokes aside, rocket science is, you know...
rocket science after all.
It takes decades to develop, maintain, and modernize such complex technology. You need generations of specialists, not just "do what the Soviets did." You can't replace engineers carrying decades of collective knowledge. And sure, you can borrow a few million from the budget for a yacht here and there, but don't expect it to not affect the outcome.
Unless, of course, as a ᵣussian corrupt oligarch, you believe ᵣussia will never actually need it — and "pretending hard enough" will suffice.
Now when Putin asked to "hit the mood" - with all brain capacity, ᵣussian "engineers" managed to do exactly what they were asked for - Luna 25 hit the moon. Just as advertised.
Okay, the story... 👇
THE LONG STORY
During the Soviet era, Ukraine’s KB Yuzhne Design Bureau was instrumental in developing intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). Their engineers were behind the creation of iconic missiles like the R-36M "Satan" (SS-18), one of the most powerful nuclear delivery systems in history.
KB Yuzhne's team not only designed these missiles but also worked on the infrastructure and testing facilities. Much of the missile manufacturing and testing was based in Ukraine, positioning the country as a vital hub in Soviet missile technology.
Post-Soviet Hangover and New Russian ICBMs
When the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, ᵣussia lost access to key Ukrainian missile facilities, engineers, and technology. Despite the separation, ᵣussia continued using Soviet-era systems like the SS-18, but the need for modernization grew. ᵣussia developed the RS-28 Sarmat to replace the aging SS-18s, but the loss of Ukrainian expertise made this more difficult than anticipated. Corruption and inefficiency further complicated ᵣussia’s attempts at modernizing its nuclear arsenal, leading to delays and repeated test failures of the Sarmat system.
Today
Today, ᵣussia’s missile program faces significant challenges (not sure if this is the right word).
The RS-28 Sarmat has experienced four failed tests, including one where the missile exploded in its silo. This reflects a broader issue: ᵣussia's post-Soviet technological decline, exacerbated by corruption in its defense sector. While Soviet missile designs like the SS-18 were once cutting-edge, ᵣussia’s ability to maintain and advance this legacy without Ukrainian expertise has proven difficult, if not impossible. The ongoing failures of the RS-28 highlight the contrast between the Soviet past and today’s reality.
Shoutout to one of Ukraine's top anti-propaganda TG channels - Fashik Donetskiy (Фашик Донецький).
This guy dishes out the cringiest cringe straight from the depths of vavtik's social media with style. Especially timely given our recent shaking in Kursk oblast. 🤌🧂🧵
Breakdown: "Guardian Opinion on NATO and Ukraine"
Kremlin's body fluids haven't dried on the paper yet, but here we go - 61 intellectual individuals had no fear to touch it and even signed, apparently not even reading.
Please! Please! Don't take Ukraine to NATO! 🙏😭🧵
Unwise was when ᵣussian Nuclear Forces didn't nuke Gelendzhik Putin's castle back in 2014 simply because there is no power on earth that threatens "the very existence of ᵣussia as a state" as Putin himself.
But hey, they didn't know what was coming. 🤷♂️
Claim: ✍️ "NATO’s Article 5 is widely considered to bind members of the alliance – in practice the United States above all – to go to war to repel an attack against any member."
Rebuttal:
This is The Golden Rule or russian foreign propaganda. Every nonsense should always start with anti-American sentiment.
This statement unfairly singles out the U.S. as the primary enforcer of NATO's defense, framing it as a hegemonic power. NATO operates on the principle of collective defense, with all member states contributing. This undermines the collective nature and contributions of other NATO members.
As it usually happens - russian media and all cotton swabs will scream, "it was Ukrainian air defense". Here is a clear sound of the X-101 engine and one of many photos when you see the missile's shape.
It is not a "narrative", "geopolitics", or whatever you call it. I'm tired of using the word "genocide" already. No special word is needed for those who see what is going on. All russia has been saying for years: "Ukrainian kids must die". That's it.
