#WarprizeJiSeason where lwj is given to wwx as a concubine in an attempt for the sects to extend a hand a friendship, but lwj doesn't want to be there (for the thread, wangxian don't know one another)

When lwj arrives and wwx is told what he's there for, wwx is adamant that he

doesn't need a concubine and that lwj doesn't have to stay.

However, as wq points out, it would be seen as disrespectful for refuse the sects gift and would tarnish lwj reputation, so they both agree on lwj staying. Nothing will be expected of him though.

Wwx gives him his own

cottage. It's small, but homey, and lwj appreciates it. Lwj spends his time getting to know his new home and the people that live there. He becomes friends with wn, who is shy and kind and genuine, someone lwj can trust.

Wwx, who was bewitched by lwj beauty from the moment he

saw him but is just an awkward preteen in a 20 year old body when it comes to love and doesn't want to force expectations upon lwj, asks wn all sorts of things about lwj every night.

Wn, who has had to deal with lwj never-ending questions about wwx and can tell he at least has

interest in the other man, is happy to play matchmaker. He tells wwx everything (except secrets lwj asked him to keep).

One day, he mentions lwj hasn't been sleeping well because of the bed. While lwj is helping in the fields the next day, wwx goes to his cottage and spends the

afternoon fixing his bed.

Another day, wn mentions he misses his library at home. Wwx goes down the mountain and buys him sacks full of books using the plethora of money lwj brought with him upon his arrival as another gift. He spends the next few days building a small cottage

that becomes the designated library.

Wn mentions that lwj room is quite plain. Wwx for goes his invention making for several nights to instead paint him beautiful pictures, many based off of what he knew of Gusu.

Lwj once mentioned a field of rabbits in the CR that he used to

visit. Wwx catches a few and, with a-yuans help, builds a hutch and fences in area behind lwj cottage.

After the rabbits, lwj goes to wn, curious as to if he is the one doing all these things for him. Wn says its not him, but wwx. Lwj is baffled.

When he had met the yllz for

the first time, he had felt his heart patter at the sight of him. He was definitely easy on the eyes. But lwj knew nothing about the man, and he couldn't love a man he did not know. He was grateful that he was not being made to service him and instead was welcomed into his sect

as an equal. But since that day, they hadn't really spent any time together, so lwj saw him as nothing more than the sect leader that he was slightly attracted to (very).

But now, knowing that wwx has done all this for him, he's not sure what to think. His heart beats fast and

his face flushes. Does the yllz like him?

He decides to confront him after dinner. He grabs a bottle of Emperor's Smile (another of his many gifts he brought upon his arrival) and knocks on the door to the yllz room (cave?) It opens soon after.

"Lan Wangji," the yllz says in

surprise. "Uh, please, come in"

Lwj slips past and looks around his room. He stands awkwardly in the middle of it.

"Pleas have a seat!" The yllz insists.

The only place to sit is the bed. Lwj does so shyly, his face flushing.

"For you," he says, holding out the bottle of

alcohol.

The yllz beams. "Ah, how kind of you Lan Wangji! How did you know I like this?"

"Wen Ning"

The yllz smile fades slightly, but he takes the bottle nonetheless and drinks directly from the jar, some of it slipping down his neck. Lwj face burns.

"Lazou-"

"Please, no

need for such titles, Lan Wangji. Call me Wei Ying"

Lwj gasps quietly at the familiarity. Could it be...

"Then you may call me Lan Zhan"

Lwj notices how wwx cheeks flush at his words. "Ah, hah, alright Lan Zhan"

"Wei Ying, I came to inquire about some strange happenings as of

late"

"Strange? What strange happenings? Are you alright?"

Lwj heart leaps at his concern for him. "I am fine. But you see, I've been having some small problems and inconveniences that I've reported to Wen Ning. Once I do so, they are magically fixed within a few days. Would

this be the work of demonic cultivation?" Lwj knows he's teasing. He shouldn't be. It's against the rules. But the way wwx eyes widen and his cheeks flush an adorable pink, he can't say he's sorry. He pushes on, "or perhaps it is the work of one demonic cultivator?"

"Ah, haha,

Lan Zhan, how did you find out?"

"Wen Ning"

Wwx grumbles under his breath about having a talk with him. Lwj will convince him not to.

"Wei Ying, why?"

Wwx sighs, having been found out. "I just wanted to do something nice for you, Lan Zhan. You didn't come here by choice,

and I wanted to make it comfortable for you here. I wanted you to like it here"

Lwj stands, walking towards him. "Why?"

Wwx lips part, watching his every move, almost hypnotized. "Because I like you. And I like it here. And I want you to like it here. And I want you to like me"

A pot shatters on the ground as lwj grabs the front of wwx robes and pulls him into a searing kiss. Wwx forgets the jar of alcohol in his hands and lets it fall to the ground in favor of tangling his hands in his hair.

Heated kisses turn into heated bodies as they make their

way to the bed, stripped of their clothes, and ravish each other for the rest of the night.

The next day, lwj moves his things from his cottage in favor of living with wwx. They agree to give the cottage to a-yuan once he's old enough for his old space so he can live right next

to the bunnies. Lwj and wwx walk through the Burial Mounds together, with wwx constantly touching lwj in some manner. The residence begin referring to lwj as Wei-fure, which makes lwj blush and wwx cackle. They forgo the title of concubine and instead officially marry a month

later. They gift wn anything and everything his heart desires as a thank you.

And, six months later, they attend the yearly sect conference. They stroll in together, lwj on wwx arm, dressed in the finest silks and jewelry, standing proudly as the yiling lazous husband.
