The new White House Secretary has spread very serious doubts about the legitimacy of American democracy.
Note that on Big Tech platforms, it's fully permissible to argue that the 2000 presidential election was fraudulent and the results illegitimate. Same with the 2004 and 2016 elections, and the 2018 Georgia election.

But you'll be banned if you say this about the 2020 election.
Beyond claiming the 2018 Georgia election was "stolen," the new White House Press Secretary also spread serious doubts about the legitimacy and integrity of American democracy by saying Trump wasn't really president because he stole the 2016 election:

The way they obey and fall into line to Pelosi is half-creepy and half-impressive.

Last July, the Squad vowed to vote NO on Pelosi's $2b more for Capitol Police - 6 months after chanting "Defend the Police!". @AOC reversed when she saw her NO vote would sink Pelosi's demand.
Yesterday, Chomsky gave another interview, this one to @OwenJones84, warning of the grave dangers of US/NATO in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, AOC and the rest of the Squad just blindly vote YES to send another $40b to the war, even after Biden only asked for $33b.

Remember when we were supposed to view AOC's 2018 primary victory over Joe Crowley (one I supported) as some revolutionary act?

Yeah, imagine how different the world would be if Crowley still held that seat. One shudders at the darkness that would prevail without AOC there. Image

NEW: Biden Wanted $33 Billion More For Ukraine. Congress Quickly Raised it to $40 Billion. Who Benefits?

greenwald.substack.com/p/biden-wanted…
Tens of billions, soon to be hundreds of billions, are flying out of U.S. coffers to Ukraine -- or, more accurately, to the weapons industry -- as ordinary Americans suffer in multiple ways, showing who runs the U.S. Government, and for whose benefit.
Can anyone advance a cogent argument that Americans are endangered by the war in Ukraine? Clearly, they are far more endangered by the US response to the war; conflict between the U.S. and Russia has long been ranked as one of the two greatest threats facing humanity.

Numerous world leaders also condemned Twitter and Facebook for banning Trump, including many who harbored clear antipathy for Trump: including Merkel of Germany, Macron of France, various EU officials, AMLO of Mexico, etc. They saw it as a threat to democracy.
Among those objecting to Trump's ban from Twitter as dangerous "censorship" was @nalvany, as The Washington Post's @jawillick just pointed out👇:

If you want to see the sociopathic and self-destructive insanity governing "left" politics in the US -- the utter narcissism where they prioritize their petty, power-hungry needs above those they're supposedly seeking to help, read this @RyanGrim report:

Just as they did in NYC -- where they first destroyed the only viable left Mayoral candidate (@ScottMStringer) with sketchy, vague allegations, then did the same to @Dianne4NYC - they just destroyed the candidacy of a socialist black woman who teaches DEI: all over nothing.
In this sociopathic left-cultural milieu, if someone casts even the vaguest accusation and you deny it, that's proof of your guilt: @scottmstringer.

If you admit it - as @brandy4moco did - they use it to destroy you.

The only sane reaction is to run in the opposite direction.

Not just in the US, but in the broader democratic world, "free speech" is now regarded as a right-wing value.

Supporting an online censorship regime imposed by a union of corporate and state power is a virtual requirement to be deemed a left-liberal in good standing.
Of all the twisted beliefs to support censorship, the worst is the idea that censorship is a tool used to protect the marginalized from the powerful.

The opposite is and always has been true: censorship is a tool used by the powerful to silence dissidents and the marginalized.
The first reporting I ever did on Big Tech censorship was this article on how Facebook was banning Palestinian journalists and activists at the behest of the Israeli Government.

Corporate/state censorship is always used to serve dominant factions.
