I can't stop thinking about Yunmeng inventing tattoos in the cultivation world. Like it's Ancient China right, fantasy, but still. And cultivators, they heal. So tattoos wouldn't stick.

But you see, after the Sunshot campaign and whatnot,

the YMJ cultivators are full of rogue, or displaced, cultivators because of the Wens. YMJ was truly scruffy back in the early days yeah.

They're all scarred someway or another. See their SLJ.

So some commoner or someone, came up with this idea of covering/designing/

beautifying their battle scars with art! Drawing! On bodies!

JC got it first, because he's not letting /his/ people do something sketchy without him testing it out first yeah. Then there's like idk, flowers blooming on his chest or something PRETTY, and blended in so nicely, and

perfectly with his whip scars and he just starts crying?

Like i picture his sect members and the tattoo artist going "OMG SLJ ARE YOU OKAY OMG AM I GOING TO GET HANGED"

and he's like sobbing "it's perfect ✨✨"

And then it became a trend because SLJ is /THE/ trendsetter in YMJ

Just tattooed YMJ cultivators popping out of nowhere and the rest of the cultivation world is like ?????? WHAT IS GOING ON

Like the other sects just DON'T UNDERSTAND they think it's barbaric so the art stays in YMJ and it's intriguing to the younger cultivators

And just. Yeah. If someone draws tattooed SLJ I'm actually going to cry 😭😭🥲🥲

Even better if #chengxian happens like WWX coming back to life and seeing his pretty tattooed shidi and going: 🧍
