Remember: Outlawing abortion is outlawing bodily autonomy. If they have the power to make it illegal, they'll have the power to make it mandatory too.

This is the story I've been trying to tell for years and years. This is why I said my border work was all connected to the disinformation and climate change work too. It's all been one hideous power grab by the global far right. And right now, it looks like they're winning.

States have borders. So do cities. Imagine those borders getting weaponized, in order to, for example, prevent women from leaving the region to get abortions, or to prevent people in need from using their resources, like water. I've been thinking about that for a long long time.

I even know their goal. They've said it themselves for many years. Here's a direct quote from this vile network's founder, John Tanton:

“One of my prime concerns... is about the decline of folks who look like you and me.”

He also warned a friend that “for European-American society and culture to persist requires a European-American majority, and a clear one at that.”
