Mchele / Pishori story, the last episode.
It was on Friday the 13th, April 2018.
At around 8pm, there was mad traffic along Thika Road so I arrived at my house in Zimmerman late & since I couldn't manage to fix supper, I passed by my favourite Butchery for a meal.
then I passed by the supermarket to buy milk & biscuits for breakfast. At my gate, though it was dark I noticed a young, slim girl probably around 16 or 17 yrs. I asked her what she was doing.
"Nimefukuzwa fees, naenda kwa Aunty yangu nilale, alafu kesho niende home." She said..
I was shocked, like who sends away such a young girl late in the evening to go home because of school fees arrears ?
She said that she had a phone but the battery was off & requested if she could charge the phone at my place so that she can call the aunty.
I empathised with her, I took the phone & as I was about to tell her to wait for me outside, in a faint voice she said, "Naomba maji ya kunywa. Niko na kiu na njaa sana".
I allowed her in, charged her phone. I went for 2 glasses & a packet of those sweet digestive biscuits.
I sipped my milk halfway, took two pieces of biscuits then I went to the kitchen to fetch her a glass of water. Then I finished the remaining milk & excused myself to go & request the caretaker to "fungua maji". We had a very mean caretaker who could switch of water &
electricity at will.
I came back & found the girl had made some few calls. She said that she had contacted her aunt & she sent her some cash to take a taxi home.
I was a bit relaxed, so I offered to take her to a nearby MPesa shop once she was through.
That was the last thing...
...I remembered saying.
I woke up the following day at around 10am. I felt very cold only to realise I was sleeping on the floor with just a t-shirt socks & a boxer.
The house had been wiped clean !
They were kind enough to leave me some milk, biscuits & water. #BetterTogether

Mchele Story Part 2
During the curfew period in 2020 when clubs were closed, we used to work for a week then rest for a week. This was to ensure that staff observed social distancing.
Now since there was a lockdown & no movement out of Nairobi, I decided...
to keep myself busy. So I operated a taxi during my free time. This gave me some earnings instead of lazying in the house all week long.
Now a fellow taxi guy who initiated me into my new hustle used to get many jobs & sometimes he was overwhelmed. So he could give me some jobs..
...this guy was a good hearted fella & he liked sharing, he wasn't like the typical greedy Kenyans.
I was sent to Kileleshwa to pick 3 ladies. 2 were sisters & the other was a cousin. I used to drive them to Ngong Hills, Kitengela, Namanga, Machakos pple's park etc . They just...
In 2015 within Umoja Innercore, I was given Pishori.
I went to this popular joint to take my nyamchom order & proceed home. I met some friends & decided to join them to unwind as we irrigated our throats a little.
Since they had already taken their supper, I excused myself & moved to the next table to take my meal. I was very hungry. As I was eating, a lone guy joined me. He had a bottle of Tusker. By then a friend had ordered 2 cold tuskers for me. I had opened 1.
As I cleared my plate...
the guy stood up, requested me to look after his drink as he went to the washroom. "Bro, nichungie drink wasiweke mchele" mins later he came back. Thanked me & sat, now it was my turn to go & wash my hands. I didn't trust this fella,so as I told him to look after my drink, I also
