It’s Jen Psaki’s last day as the White House press secretary, and Fox News’ Peter Doocy is torn up about it.

In honor of the special occasion, let’s take a trip down memory lane and revisit some Psaki-Doocy exchanges that kept us on the edge of our seats. 🧵

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) calls $40 billion military aid package to Ukraine “a gift” and blocks it from passing.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) explains his rationale for blocking $40 billion Ukraine military aid package:

“My oath of office is to the U.S. Constitution, not to any foreign nation … We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy.”
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is the "only one thing holding us back" from passing $40B in aid for Ukraine.

"He is simply saying my way or the highway," Schumer says, referring to Paul's desire for a special IG to oversee the spending.

The battle over reproductive rights is *the* story in the United States — for obvious reasons. And it’s a battle women are losing.

But did you know that access to abortions and contraceptives is also one of the most pressing issues for Ukrainian women right now?
Russian soldiers are using rape as a weapon of war against Ukrainian women.

In the first two weeks of April alone, Ukraine says it received 400 reports of rape committed by Russian soldiers. A UN mission has received 75 allegations of rape against Ukrainians.
The Ukrainian ombudswoman for human rights described one instance to the BBC which involved about “25 girls and women aged 14 to 24” who were “systematically raped during the occupation in the basement of one house in Bucha.”

And that’s just one example. bbc.com/news/world-eur…

There are some really bad takes about Ukraine’s president out there ranging from conspiracy trash to idol worship – and our fellow media folk are some of the worst offenders.

We’re highlighting five of the worst large-platform takes we’ve seen about Volodymyr Zelenskyy 🧵
If they ever come out with a war zone version of “Fashion Police,” we’ve found our host: Financial pundit Peter Schiff.

You know … the kind of choices a president needs to make during an attack.
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson has been spreading Putin’s propaganda. Tucker Carlson’s response to people calling him out for spreading Putin’s propaganda? Argue that if he’s a tool of Russian propaganda, so is Zelenskyy. Nope!
