I made the right call. I knew they would give a little hope at the end and then snatch it back. I expected them to lose in 6 when the series was announced, but they squandered so many chances to steal this series. But, Florida scoring no PPGs in 6 games and advancing is criminal.
The Capitals have now lost in the first round each of the past four seasons since winning the Stanley Cup. Three of those four losses have come in DC. The other was in the Covid bubble. This is the second time in four years that they were eliminated in overtime.
I’m honestly just here for Ovechkin breaking Gretzky’s record. It’s gonna be hard to get back into title contention with the team constructed as is.

The Moderna vaccine utilizes the same mRNA strategy to deliver an encoded stable spike protein. This spike protein is the hallmark of Covid-19 and the vaccine gives your body an open book test on how to fight it if you should ever encounter Covid in the streets.

The vaccine is only 52% effective starting two weeks after the first dose. When you get the second dose, the vaccine is 91% effective seven days later. This is a reckless headline.
Here’s the data straight from the New England Journal of Medicine highlighting the efficacy of the Pfizer vaccine. You’re not going to be automatically immune to Covid after the first dose. It takes time.

I’ll document any reactions I have to the vaccine. My arm started getting sore 30 seconds afterward. But after moving my arm around for about 3 minutes, it’s getting better
I also registered on the CDC site to document any potential side effects.

And I tested negative. I got an extra day off from work today because I can’t go in with a pending test. Yay, occupational health rules and regulations.
Now I need my job to hit my email with an appointment date for this vaccine. I’ve been constantly refreshing like when I shopped online for my PS5.
Guys...I might be getting my Covid vaccine tomorrow.
