Journalist syndicates, unions and federations should:

- End ties with complicit Israeli institutions.

- Pledge to refuse junkets to Israel funded by the Israeli government, complicit Israeli institutions and Israel lobby groups.
- Support journalists who refuse to cover assignments in Israel on ethical grounds.

- Support the International Federation of Journalists @IFJGlobal's case before the @IntlCrimCourt on Israel’s systematic targeting of Palestinian journalists.
- Pledge to respect the ethical and professional journalistic guidelines developed by the Palestinian Journalists’ Syndicate and the Palestinian BDS National Committee.

- Pledge to center Palestinian voices and eyewitnesses instead of centering Israeli government spokespersons.
Media studies and journalism faculties, departments, and programs should:

- Respect the Palestinian #BDS call by ending ties with complicit Israeli institutions.

- Refuse to host official representatives of complicit Israeli institutions.
Condemn the killing, but hold the killers accountable, too.

Amnesty International, the largest international human rights organization finds that, based on policies, actions, and omissions since 7 October, 2023, Israel is committing genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians in besieged and occupied Gaza.

Amnesty now adds its voice to states, UN experts, and thousands of legal scholars and historians who have reached the same conclusion.Image
Most importantly, Amnesty calls on states to impose targeted and lawful sanctions on Israel including:

“Immediately suspend the direct and indirect supply, sale or transfer, including transit and trans-shipment, to Israel of all weapons, munitions and other military and security equipment, including the provision of training and other military and security assistance”

To “use all economic, political and diplomatic tools at their disposal” to ensure that Israel stops the genocide, ends its illegal occupation, and its apartheid regime is dismantled.Image

Since 2008, Sabra has been co-owned by PepsiCo and Strauss. Sabra sales in the US suffered a massive blow following intensified boycotts in 2023 and 2024 in light of its parent company’s complicity in supporting Israel’s genocide against 2.3 million Palestinians. Image
