Interview w/ Doug Lewin of Stoic Energy.

There weren't only 6 tripped generator plants off line there were 16 others off line. 🤨😬

As I iterated repetitively last night, WHY wasn't maintenance done in Mar and Apr.

Forecast wasn't new news. #ERCOT

ERCOT specifically requested May 4 that plants with planned maintenance for this week not do so due to temperature forecast.

So, they did it anyway?

ERCOT! TX lost 6 power plants offline today ... they "tripped"

Where? ETA for operational?

There's barely a breeze anywhere in TX @ 10 p.m.

We cannot rely on alternate energy like wind and solar!

Ridiculous. It's not even that hot yet.

This was forecast a week ago.
Don't believe me on the amount of wind state wide??

Open this weather map and activate the little wind flag in left side options. And it's a bit dark out for more solar.

Unseasonably warm like May 2011 was ... and dry.
