It brought tears to my eyes when I heard about what happened in Buffalo as innocent good people were gunned down in cold blood. It personally reminded me of the painful suffering families experience when they lose someone at the hands of white supremacy & domestic terrorism. 1/4
My grandfather fought in WWII against the Nazis and racism. When he returned home he bought land so my great-grandfather could stop sharecropping on a white supremacist’s land. 2/4
Once the white man found out about my great-grandfather’s intent to pay him off and leave, he drove to my grandfather’s house, shot and killed my great-grandfather, and went home to smoke a cigarette on his porch.
