The magic pill, the sweet sauce to your success is:

1. A killer product, a #SaaS that actually solves a problem for your ideal customer, and

2. A killer network that can help you make (the right) friends and influence (the right) people.
Want to know the secret to building an amazing network?

More than being extroverted, it’s about being intentional. Getting to know the right people… on purpose. And letting people get to know you… on purpose.
But remember, even if you’re an introvert building an intentional and powerful network is important for your growth TODAY and TOMORROW.

Here are a few steps we’ve learned over the years:
1. Go out
Even if you live in a small town, there are events for entrepreneurs. Hop on a quick flight to a bigger town if you need to. You can’t build a successful business sitting alone at your desk. Go out!
2. Host dinners
Whether it’s at a restaurant or at your home, organize a dinner with other entrepreneurs. Invite the people you want to get to know and want to engage with. Be strategic. Invite friends of friends. you’ll be the organizer, so you’ll be the one people remember.
3. Perfect your intro
Part of being intentional in building your network is INSTRUCTING people how to remember you. You can do that by perfecting the way you introduce yourself. Highlight the connections you want people to make and remember you by.
4. Add value
Remember… adding value isn’t about bragging about yourself or showcasing your talents. It’s 100% about the other person and helping them reach their goals. You add value by helping them WIN! Have a “give first” mentality!
5. Stay connected
Building your networking intentionally and powerfully isn’t a one-and-done interaction. Keep growing the size and depth of those you’re connected to. Always be intentional and stay connected!
