The thing about sustainable cities is they are intended to become the new 'nation-sates'. Eventually nations as we know them will be dissolved. All land outside cities will be allocated by world govt for food and other production. The majority of people will wind up being
collected into giant AI controlled cities and travel out of them will become restricted. Everyone will be health monitored in real time, all commerce will be monitored in real time. This is what they are getting us ready for. Populations are currently being reduced, some people
are already chipped. Each sustainable city will be it's own autonomous govt and everyone inside will be compliant with govt as part of health and sustainability. There are agendas beyond 2030, like 2050, etc. Each agenda spells out the steps required to reach those goals.

At least 20 years ago I dreamed about this. Mega cities in my dream were built above older cities. They had force field tech holding structures I place, that coupled with grav tech allowed giant support platforms under the new parts. In my dream an airbus had trouble and managed
to miss hitting the platform and crash thru underneath it into older city. Special military teams were sent down to find it. I was going to title a book Under Oslo, so maybe I dreamed a future plane crash.
In the dream the military sent down was trained in the force field tech, which crackles with loads of deadly electricity where it got damaged.
