Academicians like everyone have a right to have opinion about a political agenda, however to be dishonest in order to score for your side, or misinterpret data is, well unethical. We all know how @wdavison10 & @KjetilTronvoll recently reminded TPLF supporters that they were 1/
weak on their historical claims of the forcibly annexed lands of Wolkait and Raya. Then the attempts to produce documentations started. One of their ally in Ghent University didn't disappoint and made this database, zenodo.org/record/6554938…. Problem is that there are tons of 2/

Ethiopia is on the African continent, there're things that are common to all Africans,& then there're things unique to each country.Ethiopians don't prescribe 2 identity politics.That, it is imposed on us in 1991 is why u see all this mayhem. Not 'cause we don't love Africans 2/
We are Africans so we cannot hate ourselves. We deployed our people to keep peace across Africa. We supported our brothers so that all African nations are decolonized. We remained the last bastion of hope & freedom during the colonization mania of Africa by remaining free. 3/

I have huge respect for Dr. Eleni Gabre-Madhin, & truly understand that how stressful such search routine could be to all who are facing it. BUT she falls squarely within the elite of the country who did not lift a finger to change this horrific genocidal system imposed on us! 1/
Infact most made the system look good, I mean why wouldn't Ethiopians and the world beyond believe this may work... When people like Dr. Eleni and Dr. Yonas Biru are advisors? Those who are the creme de la creme thought any opposition to the system was going into politics. 2/
