Or, I could also explain the article's key point. It won't take long.
It is this: Woke ideology depends on the technique of Bundling.
Bundling in this sense is when an entity which is selling a product, bundles another product with the first, so that if you want the one, you must get the other.
If you could by the product without the bundled addition, you would. But you can't.
So Wokeness bundles Woke ideology with products that cannot be easily replace or substituted for.
It doesn't work when I can buy an equivalent product elsewhere without the Woke ideology.
Harry's Razors is a good example. They went Woke and cut off advertising with the Daily Wire. The Daily Wire promptly went into the razor business.
So Harry's is fucked.
But when Disney goes Woke, well, you can't really replicate Disney movies or Disneyland, since they brand is rather unique.
So you have to accept the Woke crammed down your throat, if you really want the thing you want.
This bundling trick works pretty much only where competition is virtually impossible/nonexistent.
Another good example is comics: Both Marvel and DC have gone Woke, and while there are good indie comic creators, sometimes we want a Batman or Spider-Man story.
And DC has a monopoly on Batman.
And Marvel has a monopoly on Spider-Man.
So if you want these characters, you have to accept the injected Woke filth too.
Or Star Wars. Or Star Trek. Or Doctor Who. Or He-Man. Or Lord of the Rings. Or ... whatever franchise the Woke rape next.
In the case of entertainment franchises, the Woke are finding that the injection of Woke ideology actually poisons the product, so it kills off the original demand.
That is, people would want the product without the Woke, but do not want it with the Woke.
Woke in entertainment is like rat turds in your dinner.
It doesn't really matter how well prepared the dinner is, if it has rat turds in it, you probably aren't going to want to eat it — no matter how much you are craving the rat-turd free version.
If someone offered me my favorite food, but with rat turds added, I'd refuse.
That's pretty much where I'm at with Woke in entertainment.
I stopped watching Doctor Who years ago.
I had a faint hope that they might change course after losing most of their audience, but nope.
They are trying to get old fans back by bringing back David Tennant's Doctor and Rose Tyler — but they've turned her into a black tranny.
I'm not going to watch this shit.
It would only make me unhappy.
Rat turds in your sandwich.
And of course, calling me a bigot certainly won't induce me to watch it. Fuck you.

"You can't shout 'FIRE!' in a crowded theater" is another great example of a false belief many Americans have.
You can, actually.
This "fire in a theater" analogy is found in the 1919 Schenck v. United States, which was overruled in 1969, in Brandenburg v. Ohio.
Under Brandenburg, speech can be prohibited if it is (1) "directed at inciting or producing imminent lawless action" and (2) it is "likely to incite or produce such action."
In other words, only INCITEMENT is against the law.
Not only that, even INCITING speech is permitted if isn't LIKELY to INCITE.
Their doctrine is that of Satan: "To be truly liberated, you must reject God."
I have spoken about this many times:
A good, which is not the good, becomes an idol when it becomes a substitute for the good itself. And those who preach it, tell you, incoherently, that this particular good is so good it is BETTER than the good itself.
Governors just saying that things are crimes doesn't somehow overrule the Constitution or the Supreme Court's rulings that they are protected by our rights.
The SCOTUS is clear: there is NO SUCH THING as a "hate speech" exemption to the 1st Amendment.
Unfortunately for the Left, beauty is a natural quality that is perceptible.
Beauty is, I say again, a QUALITY.
That means
1 Qualities are not quantities, so they cannot be measured with mathematical precision
2 Qualities can be sorted into a rank-order of more or less
The sophism is to pretend that the inability to measure qualities with the same precision as quantities means that there is no rank-order of qualities and that no one can make judgments about them.
