Female skateboarded Taylor Silverman is speaking out after placing 2nd to a male competitor who identifies as a woman at the @Redbull Cornerstone contest.
Silverman and other female skateboarders were robbed of their achievements and prize money "that was meant for women."
Many people responding to Silverman's post are calling her transphobic, a sore loser, and advise her to simply get better at skateboarding.
Taylor is now on Twitter. Her handle is @tmsilverman, and I can personally vouch for its authenticity.

I'm still being denied verification even though I qualify in every respect. I qualify as an independent journalist who has had at least 3 articles in verified news outlets in the last 6 months.
This rejection came in 30 minutes after I requested verification.
They are likely accusing me of the highlighted bit below, even though I never "harass," "shame," or "insult" any individuals or groups on the basis of any of the listed categories. I only attack ideas.
Do I routinely post "content that promotes the supremacy or interests of members of any group in a manner likely to be perceived as demeaning on the basis of these categories"?
1/ 🚨ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going independent to focus on sex and gender ideology full-time. I will be working on getting my book finished ASAP, and exposing gender ideology regularly on my Substack.
2/ I have left my job at FAIR and just turned down a generous offer from The Daily Wire because these full-time positions prevent me from dedicating sufficient time and effort on the issue I feel is most important—combatting gender ideology and pseudoscience about sex.
3/ Now for the awkward part.
If my work is valuable to you and you are able and willing, here are ways you can support me and my work:
Any parent reading this children's hospital website for info on the safety of puberty blockers will see this & assume PBs are USDA approved for treating gender dysphoria. But this is NOT true. They're USDA approved for precocious puberty & are being used OFF LABEL for dysphoria.
You know who else might find puberty difficult or confusing? Everyone.
This makes it seem as though finding puberty difficult and/or confusing is a sign you might be trans, and that it may be important to go on puberty blockers.
We should be asking why other countries have been coming to very different conclusions regarding the evidence for the benefits of "gender affirming" care for children claiming trans identities.
For instance, Sweden recently released new guidelines:

My and @FondOfBeetles' essay in the @WSJ on the various harms that sex denialism inflicts on women, homosexuals, and children.
The sex of an individual is based on their reproductive anatomy and is defined by the type of gamete this anatomy is organized around, through development, to produce.
There are only two gamete types, and therefore only two sexes—male and female. Sex is binary.
When we say "sex is binary" we don't mean every human who exists can be placed unambiguously in the male or female category. It may be possible that some rare individuals are sexually ambiguous.
What I mean is that there are only 2 sexes, and intersex people are not a 3rd sex.
