Oh look, The Associated Press is spreading literal Nazi propaganda on behalf of Julia Paevska, a ‘former’ member of Right Sector, a neo-Nazi Ukrainian Nationalist organization.

That little flag dangling from Paevska’s rearview mirror in the video is the banner of Right Sector, pulled straight from the flag flown by WWII Nazi-collaborationist Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA), which engaged in ethnic cleansing of Jewish, Polish, and Roma people.

‘Apolitical’ my ass.

Julia Paevska isn’t some random innocent medic sneaking footage of war atrocities to international press: she’s a fascist militant with a white nationalist agenda who - up until her capture - received $20k/month in overseas funding.

Short film crit thread on how Starship Troopers brilliantly depicts an empire in fascist decline 🧵

It’s clear throughout the film that earth and its interplanetary colonies live under a global fascist order ruled by the Citizen Federation whose explicit aim is to colonize and control the entire galaxy. It’s also implied by a reporter that humans encroached on Bugs first.

There’s even reference to Camp Joe Smith, an “extremist Mormon colony” that attempted to colonize a planet in what the Federation calls “The Arachnid Quarantine Zone”, where setting up colonies is considered unadvisable - but is not prevented by the Federation. Sound familiar?

Raz Cohen & Shoam Gueta are 2 of 4 “eyewitnesses” from The NY Times article who claim to have witnessed rapes during the Nova Festival attacks. On Oct. 7, Raz posted a smiling selfie while lying in the very streambed with Shoam where they claim to have witnessed the rape.🧵

Raz’s description of “Screams without words” became the article’s headline. Raz’s detailed account on IG from the day makes no mention of the brutal gang rape he now claims he witnessed. If he did, why’d he post a selfie on Oct 7 from where he witnessed it smiling w/ a shaka 🤙🏼?

Raz’s friend Shoam Gueta is the only other source the NYT has as an eyewitness using their real names claiming to have witnessed sexual violence. But his account of the day doesn’t include a single mention of witnessing rape, despite having recorded video in the streambed.

A common theme in the comments are references to Palestinians as animals and subhuman garbage. There’s open calls for torture and mass execution by firing squad (a primary method of extermination during the Holocaust). Also note an IOF veteran’s comment. (3/6)

On Tuesday 1,100 gallons of toxic firefighting foam (AFFF) leaked from the Navy’s Red Hill facility. AFFF contains PFAS, a forever chemical that can cause cancer. These pictures show cleanup efforts at the site of the leak, directly above O'ahu’s primary source of drinking water.

You can see AFFF darkening concrete in those photos while Red Hill workers scoop soil and concrete into barrels whilst trying to soak up toxic foam with pads. What you can’t see is one mile down: a channel leading to Halawa Stream, where the Navy flushes fuel-contaminated water.
