"ब-मुजीब निविश्ता रफीउलअमीन दिवान बनारस ब-अर्ज रसीद की..
बुतखाना बिंदुमाधव मिस्मार नमूदा दर बाब अहदास्त नमूदन मस्जिद हर चे अम्र शवद. हुक्म शूद के तय्यार नूमायद
Rafi-ul-amin the Diwan of Banaras wrote that the temple of Bindu Madhav has been demolished. I am awaiting your (Aurangzeb's) orders on the construction of a Mosque in that place. The Emperor ordered, "Go ahead and build a Mosque."
The Alamgir Mosque on the Panchganga Ghat in Varanasi stands on a site where once stood the magnificient temple of Lord Bindu Madhav

English Translation

This fort was conquered and this Jami Masjid was built in the months of the year 587 (1191-92 AD) by the Amir, the great and glorious commander of the army named Qutbu-d- daulatw-d-din the Amiru-l-umara Aibak Sultani (Qutubuddin Aibak).

मअरूज़-इ बिसात-बोसान-इ किब्ला-इ दीन-यावरान इस्वत-इ अहद-परस्तान गर्दीद कि, ब-मूजिब-इ हुक्म-इ कझा अल-मझा, कार-पर्दाज़ान बुतखाना-इ काशी बिशनाथ मुनहदिम गर्दानीदंद. Image
मराठी अर्थ:-

बादशाहाच्या नोकरांनी विदित केले की (बादशाही) अधिकाऱ्यांनी (बादशाहाच्या म्हणजे औरंगजेबाच्या) हुकुमावरून काशी विश्वनाथाचे देऊळ उद्ध्वस्त करविले (किंवा केले).

फार्सी शब्दार्थ :-

१) मअरूज़ = submitted, विदित केले.
२)बिसात-बोसान. बिसात = गालीचा. कुठला गालीचा? गृहीत आहे की बादशाहाच्या सिंहासनासमोर पसरलेला गालीचा. बिसात-बोसान म्हणजे त्या गालीचाचे चुंबन घेणारे, म्हणजे बादशाही नोकर किंवा सरदारही.

Shivaji Maharaj's Cavalry Chief Netoji Palkar after his conversion to Islam by Aurangzeb was named as Muhammad Quli Khan and was appointed as the thanedar of Panjshir in Afghanistan. Yes the same Panjshir which is making news lately. This Akhbar of A'zebs court talks about it.

"ब फिदाई खान फर्मुदंद के मुहम्मद कुली खान उर्फ़ नेतोजी रा थानादारी पंजशीर मी फर्माईम ऊ रा खबर रसानंद. अर्ज नमुद ऊ जाए खबर अस्त इन मनसूब कलान दारद बराये हमीन मी फर्माईम के चंद रोज़ अज़ आन सरहद वाकिफ-इ-हाल बाशद बाद अज़ यक साल थानादारी गज़नी ख़्वाहम फर्मूद."
