1. First things first. As per Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's ADP document shared by you below, the project name is Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan and not Mardan Medical College as you mentioned in your earlier tweet. Please correct that first & foremost.
2. ADP 2013-14 document downloaded from here pndkp.gov.pk/download/kp-ad… shows that the project ID 90334 of Bacha Khan Medical College was approved on 24/08/2011 with a total cost of Rs 1717.449 million. Uptil June 2013, the ANP govt spent Rs 465 million as required for it.
3. If ANP were in power post-2013, the project would have been completed by end-June 2015 as necessitated by the project construction requirements. When PTI took over, it took 7 long years as it could only spend Rs 690 million. pakp.gov.pk/wp-content/upl….
4. So in ANP's two years (August 2011 till June 2013), it spent Rs 232.5 million per year on average while PTI spent Rs 98 million per year on average delaying the project till 2022. If the momentum of ANP was continued during PTI, the project would have been completed in 2015.
5. Regarding the first phase of the project, which was to functionalize Bacha Khan Medical College Mardan in the old building, ANP spent all funds in its tenure and made the college functionalize.
6. Bacha Khan was a non-violent leader of the subcontinent who fought the British Colonial rule in the sub-continent. He represented the oppressed masses regardless of their affiliations, class, or religion.
7. Lastly, you may have your disagreements with ANP but you should proudly announce that your party will keep the name of Bacha Khan for the Medical College.
