1/ Today's article by @CNN alleging Israel is responsible for the killing of #ShireenAbuAkleh relies heavily on claims by "expert" Chris Cobb-Smith. For 2 decades @CobbSmith collaborated with NGOs to advance a venomous anti-Israel agenda.
2/ During the 2009 Gaza conflict, Cobb-Smith worked with @amnesty to circulate misleading claims about the operation and the IDF. He falsely asserted that the IDF used white phosphorous “in an illegal manner.” 
3/ In 2012, Cobb-Smith prepared a “Guide to Field Investigation” for NGO @alhaq_org (later terror-designated). The guide was meant for “researchers who investigate human rights violations committed by Israeli occupying forces in the occupied Palestinian territory.”
4/ In 2018, while serving as an advisor for @ForensicArchi, Cobb-Smith worked with anti-Israel @btselem for a biased report on an IDF strike in Gaza. He also participated in a workshop by NGO @pchrgaza (linked to PFLP, btw).
