I’m at the Surrey courthouse for day 2 of the trial where Jessica Yaniv Simpson — a trans-identified male who took women to the human rights tribunal for not waxing his balls — is facing an assault charge for attacking @TheRealKeean outside this courthouse in Jan. 2020.

We’re on a break but I will write a long thread later.

In short, Yaniv’s defense is that he was slipping on ice and snow when he stalked @TheRealKeean for 30 yards and thumped him over the head several times.

After seeing the courthouse video footage of the assault, I just paced off the location where it occurred.

The distance that Yaniv pursued Keean Bexte is about 40 yards.

Okay, here we go, recap of the trial is below.

Defense counsel wants Yaniv to list off his various ailments.

They include fibromyalgia, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, some other obscure things I’ve never heard of, and ‘gender identity disorder.’

Wait, it is a disorder? I thought this was an innate part of ourselves.

Yaniv gets into his list of people & organizations he hates.

They include Donald Smith, Kari Simpson, John Southern, Meow Mix, @TPostMillennial, and Chris Elston who is part of some “weird organization called Billboard Chris that is anti-LGBTQ.”

I object!

I am not a weird organization. I am just me. Sure, maybe I’m weird. 🙂

I’m also not anti anyone. I’m pro reality and I’m in favour of letting kids who will be gay or lesbian grow up without being told they are born in the wrong body just because they’re gender-nonconforming.

Yaniv says prior encounters with @TheRealKeean were very frightening and scary.

Yaniv says he has “quite a background in law.” Yeah, he’s in court all the time, either suing someone and failing, or being sued and failing.

Defense counsel asks Yaniv to describe Keean Bexte’s appearance.

Yaniv describes Keean’s face as “egg-shaped.” Says he has a very distinctive look. Rude. Also, not true. Keean is a handsome lad.

Yaniv gets reprimanded by the judge for hearsay, and then continues on with more hearsay.

Yaniv lies under oath and says there was an incident in the courthouse when a reporter (Amy Hamm, who he does not name) committed an act of voyeurism in the bathroom.

I was a witness to all of these proceedings and Amy was already cleared. She didn’t even enter the bathroom.

Yaniv made 12 calls to 911 while @TheRealKeean was outside the courthouse because Yaniv didn’t want to leave while Keean was there.

Yaniv also says he didn’t want to confront Christopher Elston (me) and the “female reporter” (Amy Hamm).

I had just met Amy that day for the first time, and Yaniv had no idea who I was back then. We were already long gone. I had escorted her partway to her car for her safety.

The courthouse CCTV recording is being reviewed now.

@TheRealKeean approaches Yaniv outside and Yaniv aggressively charges Keean, grabbing him and punching him and then stalking him for 40 yards.

Yaniv says he was slipping on ice because he was in heels and he was just trying to turn off Keean’s camera.

He says he’s holding Keean so as not to slip, (as he bashes away at him.)

The crown prosecutor freezes the video and it very clearly shows Keean trying to get away as Yaniv has a firm footing and is lunging towards him, fist in the air.

Yaniv says he was in a fragile state of mind because he was hypoglycemic, and the vending machine didn’t have anything in it.

Says he hit a panic button that he wears which connects to Telus Health and he called for an ambulance that never came.

Of note, Yaniv had written on social media in January of 2020 that he had to leave in an ambulance and go to a rape shelter because of what Amy Hamm had done to him.

FYI, court sheriffs reviewed her phone and of course there were no pictures, which is what Yaniv had alleged.

Crown prosecutor asks if Yaniv had hatred towards Rebel News reporters.

Yaniv admits that he does because of what they have done to him and his family and because they are anti-LGBTQ.

Yaniv says every time he takes out his trash, or takes out his dog to “do his business” he is looking over his shoulder.

For some reason he references Keean Bexte, Drea Humphries, Sheila Gunn-Reid, and David Menzies.

Crown asks if Yaniv lost his temper. He says he didn’t. Later he says he did. Says he wasn’t pissed off. Then the story changes to he was pissed off.

Says he didn’t want confrontation. Says he was in a fragile state due to being hypoglycemic and the vending machine was empty.

Jessica Yaniv Simpson has been found GUILTY of assaulting @TheRealKeean.

Crown is seeking a 12 - 18 month suspended sentence. No jail time.

Defense counsel is seeking a conditional discharge, which is what Yaniv received in 2020 when he was convicted for possession of tasers.

Defense counsel plays the trans card. Says Jessica receives poor treatment by virtue of being trans.

Says Jessica is also needed to support his elderly mother.

Last month, Jessica ‘allegedly’ punched a senior in his mother’s elderly care home, and then pulled the fire alarm.

New criminal charges have been laid in association with that event.

Jessica also has a criminal trial on June 29th for threatening to kill me, and for two counts of public mischief.

In addition to threatening to shoot me, he told police I called in a bomb threat, and also said I jumped in front of his car during this incident.

Unbelievably, or perhaps it’s totally believable in this upside down world, the judge has granted a 14-month conditional discharge which would mean no criminal record.

The judge said Yaniv has suffered poor treatment because he’s trans, particularly from @RebelNews.

Judge says Yaniv was also in a car accident in Sept. 2021 and has PTSD.

He says Yaniv is doing good things including attending Douglas College to seek a future career in law.

Judge says it is a mitigating circumstance that Yaniv is persecuted and @TheRealKeean had written negative tweets.

The judge conceded that a second conditional discharge (which this is) is rare, but Yaniv has a lot of issues including mental health issues and is relatively young and shouldn’t have a criminal record hinder him further.

Looks like I’m going to have to take care of business at the end of June and get Yaniv a proper criminal record.
