I wanna talk about something I haven't seen talked discussed.
Here's some screenshots from Amber's James Corden appearance after the Dec 2015 incident. Contrary to popular belief, you can see the swelling if you actually look closely.
One of the big talking points is Heard was on James Corden's show the day after an incident & she looks fine, couldn't possibly be injured.
But if you compare the right side of her nose in that interview w/ other pictures, you can see it's swollen. Same w/ her bottom right lip.
Initially, I agreed and thought she looked fine when I first saw the video, years ago now.
When those tapes were leaked and the misinformation started spreading I watched the video and was like yeah that doesn't add up.
But then when I was watching the trial and had come around to believing her again*, in her make up artist's deposition, she said something to the affect of "I can still see it because I put the make up on" referring to her injuries. I was like wait... Maybe it is visible.
(*I had believed her up until the tapes came out, came back around after I started watching the trial)
So I looked at pictures of the injuries again, particularly their location & shape on her nose & lip.
I compared to pics of her without injuries to see their normal shape.
Then I watched the video again, paying close attention to those areas. Lo and behold there they were. Subtle but visible.
This pushed me over the edge and made me angry enough to come on here and say something. And now I've finally had enough time/energy to go through and
compile these screenshots/pics to point it out and show the comparison.
The main reason I bring this up is because it really pisses me off that instead of looking closely, keeping in mind that she was trying to cover it up, people didn't even try. Myself included until recently.
I'm aware this probably won't change anyone's mind. But it's been maddening to see it constantly pointed to as a main reason she's lying and not seeing anyone turn it back on them because it's legit in the video.
Honestly, I really wish her team had pointed it out in the trial.
It's right there for anyone willing to put in the effort to look for swelling - the part they so astutely point out can't be covered with make-up.
If you'd like to take a look at the video yourself, here it is -
