🧵Where did the lie come from? This is what I just learned from Texas DPS.
When the Texas Rangers arrived on the scene the day of the shooting.. the Uvalde ISD Police Officer initially stated that he engaged the shooter. (This wasn’t a sworn statement.)
Later during the official interview the Uvalde ISD Police Officer provided a official statement to the Texas Rangers stating that he DID NOT engage the shooter. In fact, he saw a person in the distance that he perceived to be the shooter but was actually a school staff member.
The Texas Ranger found through surveillance & physical evidence that Uvalde ISD Police Officer actually drove right by the shooter… while the shooter was between vehicles in the school parking lot.
The Uvalde ISD Police Officer clearly lied.
I asked Texas DPS will the Uvalde ISD Police Officer be held accountable for his initial statement…
They said NO because at the time he did not sign an official statement.

Hey fam, season 1 episode 1 of Cross County is in the books! My goal is to call out problems while offering solutions. Here’s what we covered:
Progressive DAs funded by George Soros are wreaking havoc across the country. We started in LA covering the gruesome murder of Brianna Kupfer by someone with a rap sheet a MILE long. So why was he still on the street?
War on cops: SGT Joe Gamaldi from the Fraternal Order of Police shared some SHOCKING stats with us:
- ambush attacks on police up 115%
- 25 police officers shot this month
- 15 cities with highest murder rate in history
I understand that some may disagree with @seanhannity’s politics. That’s fine. But let me tell you about the man I know. He saw me on air one day at Fox & invited me in for a little chat. He didn’t want me to make dumb decisions off camera.
He had seen other personalities make some dumb mistakes & had 3 rules he wanted to share. I listened.
Next time we met he asked what did I think about being his Man on the Street.
I expressed some concern because I’m a libertarian on so many issues. His response “Yeah, I know. Just be you.” I said but we are going to disagree sometimes. His response.. “Yep.”
Let’s discuss the Kavanaugh mob and the role colleges played in it.🤔
. @usouthernmaine recently published this report on their investigation claiming that the social justice program was mismanaged BUT THERE’S A LOT THEY’RE LEAVING OUT OF THIS REPORT.
1ST BOMBSHELL: @USouthernMaine Pres. statement was FALSE...not “hastily arranged,” more than 1 trip to protest Kavanaugh. 1st trip in Sept. 2nd in Oct. crfrm.us/bw6830mYqfi
Some thoughts on this long-needed conversation on the long-fractured relationship between my community & the police.
1) I've been criticized for supporting law enforcement in tough situations as well criticizing them when I felt they got it wrong. One thing is clear to me: we've become so tribalistic as a country that it's hard for any side to agree on basic facts.
2) My first professional job was working in juvenile court as a student advocate. During that time I interacted with some outstanding cops but, like many careers, there's always that select bunch that abuses their power. I came in contact with those cops too.
