Appeals don’t always right wrongs unfortunately BUT we hope this will be successful and in the meantime there needs to be a full review of the circumstances of her referral @gmcuk
In addition this also requires a whole systems review of the circumstances of the allegations made as although we don’t have all the details the opportunity to learn and to #StopExcessReferralOfIMGs is paramount in order to ensure that they continue to have the confidence to work
In our health system going forward
Why was there a concern by Dr Arora that she needed to slow down the rate of calls that night?
Why did she not get a laptop for over 4 months after her original request ? She was asking for one to do her job to the best of her ability
Was there a local investigation and if there was did it follow all the correct guidelines? Was there a mentoring system ? Was she able to contribute her response and was she informed of the steps that were being taken?
Have all the language and cultural issues been properly considered here ?
These and other questions need ti be answered whatever the outcome of an appeal
