(4) the property agent lamented that he used to earn HKD 100,000 a month but due to this case, he earned only HKD30,000 a month - a blow to his career, so "remorse" = his lost earnings

(1) Biden has reportedly indefinitely postponed a “historic” summit with leaders from across Southeast Asia (ASEAN) scheduled for next week - Biden will instead meet on Tuesday with Singapore’s PM Lee Hsien Loong to discuss US interests in the region & the Ukraine crisis
