President Buhari expressed concern that since the last Summit of @ecowas_cedeao leaders on March 25 this year, not much has been achieved in terms of having an acceptable time-table for the conduct of elections to restore democratic rule in the three countries.
The President noted that although the military leadership in Burkina Faso has released President Kabore in line with the request by ECOWAS leaders, further measures must be taken to ensure his safety and full freedom. #PMBatECOWAS

Pres. Buhari will today June 4 in Accra, Ghana attend an Extraordinary Summit of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State & Govt,on the political situation in Mali & other parts of W/Africa
The Summit which will hold at the Presidential Palace, Accra, also known as the Jubilee House, is expected to review progress made by Mali’s military junta on the return of the country to democratic rule.
The Heads of State will also review the situation in the Republics of Burkina Faso and Guinea.
