Lens was founded by @StaniKulechov from AAVE, and the claiming of Lens Names (similar to a twitter @ handle) has been restricted to some users.

This allows people with mint access to get better names before mainstream launch.

Lens Protocol lives in Polygon for now, and minting a handle is free, no gas required.

Smart contract current functionality allows users to follow other users, create publications (posts, comments, mirrors), and collect fees.

Users can collect fees from their publications since they are NFTs. Followers can purchase them!

Users who minted would get whitelited when Pooly's treasury reached 769 ETH → happened ~12 hours ago.

@LensProtocol whitelited holders up to block 14915305, but some reported issues minting, so keep trying!
