Alberta continues to burn deeper into exponential growth of COVID-19, worse than any other province.

Led by Calgary, by far worst in Canada, with cases doubling every 4.2 Generation cycles, at 3.5 days/cycle = doubling every ~14 days.

Joined by Edmonton. Central & North close.
Both the daily R from @imgrund and semi-weekly Wastewater Sampling at @ucalgaryCHI are leading indicators of #COVID19AB prevalence, ~5 days ahead of PCR.

Calgary has not recovered from 6th Wave, which GoA launched w rushed drop of safety measures through Feb (latest data 2 Jun).

• Edmonton had more pronounced surge in May, and is rising again
• Medicine Hat & High River rising again
• Banff never recovered from May surge

We're sitting ducks for Omicron's ongoing mutation without (proven, simple) safety measures.

1. Hospitals so full capacity is negative

According to @HQCA, it is when patients are shoehorned into hallways & lounges. AFAIK, doesn't count "blocked beds" where people wait in ER or ambulance for a bed.

But I see nothing more recent than quarter ended 30 Sep 2021, reported 16 Nov. At least @HQCA gives us end Dec 2021.

By now we should have 31 Mar 2022.

Red Deer Regional was at 82% 👍 in December 2021.

By April 2022, 14 ambulances backed up and surgeries being moved to other cities.

He would not circumvent the court order to criticize Mraiche through others. Unrelated reply to me this morning.

Like Mr Mraiche and Mr Fakih, I am Canadian and Muslim and born overseas. (Kenya, not Lebanon).

I can be those immutable things + CFL fanatic + engineer + father + advocate for ethical government and safe PPE/meds + free press + many other things simultaneously without conflict.
I don't know much about Mr Fakih or Paramount Fine Foods. Unfortunately, mainly through the terrible defamation and harassment he _truly_ suffered.

From KJJ and the mob he incited. Unlike Nate, and the self-appointed mob getting him in serious trouble.

Here's the Procedure Card I obtained this afternoon from Calgary Courts Centre for MHCare Medical v Nate Pike.

I understand from court clerks there is no publication ban and no sealed document.

I understand people want to demonstrate Friday to support Nate.

IMO, TERRIBLE idea. People may put up defamatory signs, and convoy or Coutts people who hate Nate could make things uglier. That will work AGAINST Nate.

The Justice will decide from what's IN Court, not OUTSIDE.
Procedure Card confirms report (CTV Calgary?) that Nate would file for appeal.

Not a lawyer, but IMO, STUPID WASTEFUL IDEA!

On 22 March 2023, I applied the 5Ps of Marketing to analyze AB Health/ AHS/ MHCare/ Atabay scandal over children's acetaminophen & ibuprofen meds.

There are parts of the S/C on topics about which my tweets get widespread attention –

especially the overpriced, late and dangerously substandard kids meds that GoA wants you to think came directly from Atabay –

but in reality came through markup middleman MHCare Medical.
On my own initiative, I'll be cautious, at least until Statement of Defence is filed, because I don't want to unintentionally rebut in advance a stupid defence that GoA/AB Health/AHS might rely on.

No idea whether GoA will use $$$ external counsel, as they did in CM v Alberta.
