Shri Madhavacharya saw a boat braving against the storm near the Malpe beach when he was praying at the sea shore. He immediately threw one end of his shawl towards the people on board, & drew the ship to safety.
๐ŸšฉThe captain of the ship offered everything on board to Shri Madhavacharya as a token of gratitude,but he denied everything. Surprisingly, Madhvacharya chose to take a lump covered with Gopichandana which was being used as a ballast.
๐ŸšฉIt turned out to be Vigraha of Shri Krishna. He installed the divine and beautiful Vigraha in the Udupi Matha.
