It's believed that Goddess Laxmi moves from place to place asking the question "𝐊𝐨 𝐉𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢?", She showers Her blessings only to those houses where people are awake.

🚩Bhagyada Lakshmi Baramma is a beautiful and very popular composition of Shri Purandaradasa, who is regarded as the Grandsire of Carnatic Music. 🚩It is an invocation to Goddess Lakshmi, the presiding deity of Shukra-vara (Friday), and it is usually sung in mangala ragas (tunes) like Sri or Madhyamavati.

𝑲𝑨𝑯𝑵𝑶𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑹𝑨

🚩 Kahnopatra was the daughter of a dancing girl named Shyama. Once she saw a group of devotees singing the praise of Vitthala. They were travelling to Pandharpur to see Vitthala Panduranga. 🚩Kanhopatra wanted to go along with them so she went home, informed her mother, took her tambura and joined the devotees. After Darshan, she decided to stay there itself. She would always remain in the temple & sing Vitthala's praise.

𝑨𝑲𝑹𝑼𝑹𝑨

🚩Kansa ordered Akrura to fetch Shri Krishna and Balrama to Mathura so that he could finish them. Akrura was a Vishnu Bhakta. Respecting the orders of his master Kansa, Akrura travelled on a chariot to pick up Shri Krishna and Balrama. 🚩On their way back, Shri Krishna and Balarama halted near the banks of Yamuna river to perform their morning rituals. After the brothers returned, Akrura went to bathe in the river and perform his rites

𝑸𝑼𝑬𝑬𝑵 𝑲𝑨𝑹𝑵𝑨𝑽𝑨𝑻𝑰

🚩 She was the wife of King Mahipati Shah of Garhwal. She was known for her ruthless bravery which earned her the title of ‘Nak-Kati-Rani’ which means the queen who cuts the nose. 🚩 The king of Garhwal was known for his fierce bravery and his stiff opposition to any invasion. When Shah Jahan was crowned on 14th February 1628 at Agra, rulers all across the northern India went to pay personal visit to the new emperor.

🚩Once upon a time, there was a very brave King called Harishchandra of Ayodhya. The King was known for his truthfulness and caring behavior. 🚩He took decisions on the grounds of Dharma. Under his rule, all of his subjects were extremely happy and satisfied with the King. The kingdom was very prosperous and developed.

𝑱𝑨𝒀𝑨 𝑽𝑰𝑱𝑨𝒀𝑨 𝑨𝑵𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑻 𝑲𝑼𝑴𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑺

🚩At the beginning of the process of creation, Brahma Dev created the ‘Four Kumaras’ or the ‘Chatursana’. 🚩 As the Four Kumaras were born from the mind by just a desire (Manas) of Brahma they are referred to as his Manasaputras. Their names are :- Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana and Sanat Kumara.

🚩 Uda Devi was a valiant fighter who killed more than two dozen soldiers of the British army that laid siege to Lucknow, under General Colin Campbell's guidance. 🚩 Uda Devi Pasi was born in a small village of Awadh and like any other passionate Indian, her blood was also boiling as she witnessed the rising atrocities of Britishers.

🚩During the churning of the ocean, many treasures came out and one of them was the much desired Amruta (nectar of immortality). 🚩All the Gods and the demons were eyeing the Amruta, and soon they began to dispute over it. Bhagwan Vishnu appeared before them and asked them to sit in separate rows in order for the Amruta to be served to them.

𝑲𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑴𝑷𝑼𝑳𝑳𝑨 𝑵𝑨𝒀𝑨𝑵𝑨𝑹

🔱Kanampulla Nayanar, a 46th Nayanar Saint, was born in the family of farmers in Pullirukkuveloor or Irukkuveloor. He was a great Shiva Bhakta. He wanted to utilise all his wealth in Shiva Bhagwan's service only. 🔱 He would light the lamps in Shiva temples and used to sing His praises. Bhagwan Shiva once decided to test his devotion.

𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑰𝑷𝑼𝑺𝑨𝑴 𝑭𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑽𝑨𝑳

🔱 Thaipusam is a special day for worship of Bhagwan Muruga (also known as Subrahmaṇya or Thendayuthapani) and is celebrated in a very grand manner at all Murugan temples. 🔱 It is celebrated especially at the Āṟu Padai Vīdu of Murugan (These are six temples in India especially dedicated to Shri Muruga). This festival honours Muruga or Subrahmaṇya, the son of Bhagwan Shiva. Thaipusam celebrates the victory of good over evil.

𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑷𝑬𝑲𝑨𝑹 𝑩𝑹𝑶𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑹𝑺

🚩 The Chapekars are Chitpavan Brahmins from Konkan who settled at Chinchawad near Poona where the three brothers, Damodar, Balkrishna and Vasudeo, were born about 1870, 1873 and 1879 respectively. 🚩 The Chapekars began to feel that a deliberate attempt was being made to humiliate Hindu religion by the reformers and the religious converts, at the instigation of the British government.

🌺 First of all, Sati took the form of Kali. Her form was fearful, Her hair untied and loose, Her body the color of a dark cloud. She had deep-set eyes and eyebrows shaped like curved swords. 🌺She stood on a corpse, wore a garland of skulls, and earrings made from the bones of corpses. She had four hands – on one hand, she had the head of a skull, and the other a curved sword with blood dripping on it.

🌺 Mahavidya Chinnamasta is also known as Prachanda Chandika. Chinnamasta (“she who is decapitated”) is a form of the Divine Mother shown as having cut off her own head. 🌺 Once Parvati Mata went with Her friends Dakini and Varnini to take a bath in the Mandakini River. Mata Parvati was feeling very happy and a lot of love was welling up inside which caused Her complexion to darken and the feeling of love completely took over.
