I've seen many people try to downplay the likelihood of Obi winning the election in 2023. Their justifications are frequently centered on the fact that "voters" aren't on social media. I did some digging and I here's what I discovered

👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

(This is my personal take)
First, let’s break down the 2019 elections.
Total number of registered voters: 82,344,107
Number of total votes: 28,614,190
The winner (APC) had 15,191,847. (Less than 20% of total). Despite the billions spent on their campaign, the party's "popularity" and
the ever-mentioned "Jagaban" influence.

Many of the voters are presumably "northerners, offline crowds, etc," accounting for less than a quarter of all registered voters.

The majority of non-voters are presumably "uninterested youths" who have
no interest in politics. (Many people collected PVC for identification purposes.)

What has changed, or what might change in the coming year?

Nigeria now has an estimated population of 240,000,000.
Based on these 👇🏾 figures from statistica, 38.1% of the population
is between the ages of 20 and 50 years old. That’s a total of 93,840,000.

If 30% of this population obtains their PVC and votes this time, that equates to over 28,000,000 votes. That alone equals the total number of votes cast in the previous election.
What if these youths can persuade their parents and few people in the grass root? Even if we have to beg them on our knees, and our eyes welling up with tears? Imagine what that could do? I spoke with mum this morning and she has promised to preach the Obi gospel.
So, instead of reminding us how powerful the other parties are and how impossible it is to defeat them, just get your PVC and do your part. Small numbers, believe me, can be adjusted, but when we come together like we did last year, every head will bow.
I have my PVC, and my candidate is Peter Obi.
I just need 30 million more young people. It begins with ME/YOU and progresses to WE/US.
This has nothing to do with you or your tribe; as long as you're a COMPATRIOT,
it's time to ARISE for the LABOR of our past heroes (I doubt we even have one).....but you get the gist.

With the recent news on how difficult it is to register, I'm convinced that the opposition parties recognize the power of our unity and numbers. @inecnigeria , what are
you doing about some of your employees who are collecting money before registering us? Do you require more volunteers? Why not use NYSC Corp members just like you do during elections?
What assurance do you we have that the election will go smoothly if you can't handle the registration phase properly?
