Just thinking about how America has to relive the 1/6 trauma again tonight. The Reps. on the select committee were at the scene of the crime that day. The cops, staffer, janitorial staff and others in the building. The orange demon and the GOP really put us through hell.
You will always remember where you were that the day.

But think back to waking up every morning not knowing what would happen next? Remember the kids in cages? The Muslim Ban? Kavanaugh hearings? Teargassing protestors in DC? COVID mishandling? We were tortured for 4 long years
Are things perfect now no but things are way better. Many of us are vaxxed + boosted, unemployment is down, people are back to work, we can go outside and not fear COVID. I can sleep at night knowing the Biden Harris has thing under control.

We need more Democrats in congress.

.@RepSeanMaloney not sure if you know or have heard about this incident but if Fetterman is nominated as the Dems Senate candidate he will be problem for the @dccc retaining PA seats in the House. Wake up! Not to mention Conor is one of your own.
Fetterman refuses to apologize.
When asked about how he will explain it the incident to Black voters in the general election he gives no answer..

Good Morning! I need to get this off my chest so I apologize in advance for the long thread but I am tired of people expecting Black & Brown women to trust a VP selection process that seems mismanaged. Please stop downplaying our feelings & listen. It’s the least you can do. 1/10
I didn’t get to choose Joe as my nominee — he was chosen for me. My primary is June 2nd. I am okay with Joe being the nominee and thank those in early states who voted for him. I like Joe as a person and want him to beat Trump but I don’t trust him 100% & that’s real talk. 2/10
I will vote for Joe and will stand in a long line to do so but knowing his VP is ready on day one, experienced & cares about BIPOC will make voting for the ticket a lot more joyful & special. 3/10

There has been some talk this past week on how to get Latinos into the Biden coalition.

As a Latina, I think the Biden Team needs a plan of action to energize the Latinx base:

✔️Outreach & Ground Game
✔️Stability & Security

Let me explain in this thread
Outreach - talk to Latinos directly via ads. An ad with a Latinx celebrity & Biden would be helpful. Joe also needs a Spanish language website. You want people who speak Spanish as their first language to read your plans and understand your platform.
Ground game - voter registration & engagement with groups like Voto Latino is important. There are millions of Latinos who do not vote, you must get them to the voting booth. Invest in Latinos and we will show up for you.
