In their teen years, omegas go through what people like to call, gremlin syndrome.

Izuku has been known to be a kind person with everyone flocking to him for being overall cute. Him and Katsuki entered high school together and he trusts the alpha to stay by his

side for the rest of their education.

It wasn't until Izuku hit his first heat cycle that the gremlin years finally began as Izuku grumpy marches into homeroom. For the rest of the day, he oddly paid attention to the blond conversing with his friends.

Katsuki didn't notice his

stare, or even the glare that Izuku now sports a glare aimed at an omega girl attempting to slowly get closer to Katsuki.

Izuku slams his hands on his desk with a loud crack and he makes a beeline toward the alpha as soon as shock from the sound stuns the unsuspecting students.

He makes a point of giving the girl from the other class a harsh shoulder bump before tucking himself into Katsuki's side, wrapping his arms around the blond's uniform clad torso.

The taller boy glances down at Izuku's odd behaviour, but still continues on with his conversation

as if nothing happened. His hand comes up to the small of Izuku's waist and his warmth spreads through Izuku's freckled skin.

The omega glances back at the girl who so boldly tried to move in on HIS best friend, narrowing his emerald eyes at her in distaste. When she doesn't

automatically baack off, Izuku bares his smalll fangs at her.

Most betas and alphas wouldn't think anything of an omega baring their teeth as there is little to no threat, but to other omegas, it is a clear and dangerous warning.

The girl shuffles backwards and sooner or later

leaves the room entirely. Izuku places his head on Katsuki's shoulder and smirks to himself and his victory.

This is the first of five incidents that turned this high school completely upside down.

The next incident was... a spectacle to say the least.

With the very first mating season approaching since presenting, the entire school had been jittery to say the least. Teachers had been handing out condoms and heat suppressants like they

are mints and their biology classes for the month had been switched to sex ed.

Everything in Izuku's environment had prepared him for the onslaught of pheromones, but nothing could have prepared him for this.

P.E. rolled around one October afternoon and Izuku noticed how his

eyes often drift towards Katsuki at the oddest times. Something about him has caught Izuku's special attention and he has no idea what it is.

The blond's scent had become more intense which is to be expected with mating season on the way. Katsuki who has always been a

diligent student fell asleep in class for two weeks straight and he seems to have found a new interest in glancing at omegas in the classroom.

It wasn't that Izuku felt as though Katsuki was somehow cheating on him—because the alpha looked at Izuku too. His eyes would

trace the curves on Izuku's body, drinking in his more feminine figure before snapping out of his desire filled trance.

Izuku noticed it happened to him first before it moved on to other people too. The behaviour had Izuku wondering whether or not Katsuki would enter

rut early and trigger the rest of the school in the process.

Volleyball happened to be Katsuki's strong suit because of his strength and height. Izuku wasn't the best at it, so he got stuck in the back where he could hit the ball at an appropriate angle.

In the heat of

the moment, Izuku didn't see it coming. His eyes flicker over to Katsuki who had placed a hand on the top of the net and leaned on it for support. His other hand pressed against his face as his brows scrunch together in discomfort.

It had been as if a switch had been flipped—

it was no longer Katsuki in control, but the hot blooded alpha lingering under the surface. He staggers forward and Izuku releases a gasp as he watches the blond lunge for one of the omega's on their team near the front of the net.

Izuku doesn't even think, he jumps for the girl

and shoves her away. She stumbles under the net to the other side and two pair of hands grip onto Izuku's wrists, a looming presence pulling him closer and closer.
