#WVvEPA is a Supreme Court case about the @EPA’s authority to regulate greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act.

SCOTUS already ruled that the EPA can and *must* regulate climate pollution, but extremists have captured SCOTUS, putting our planet at stake.

@EPA If SCOTUS sides with the West Virginia plaintiffs — who are arguing that Congress has not given the EPA authority to take action against climate change — it could hamstring not only the EPA, but other federal agencies that protect us from powerful corporate interests. #WVvEPA

@EPA But that's not all.

The worst outcomes in #WVvEPA could also go beyond climate and severely undermine protections on other issues like workplace safety, birth control, overtime pay, and vaccination.

@EPA Basically, West Virginia v. EPA is a VERY big deal.

While overshadowed by Roe v. Wade, it can't be stressed enough how important this case is.

@EPA While we might not be able to change the ultimate decision of the far-right Supreme Court, here's what we can do:

1. Expand SCOTUS
2. Pass @POTUS's climate bill

While these won't undo the damage done in #WVvEPA, they're vital to mitigating it.
