Agnipath Scheme launched by @DefenceMinIndia, to enable #YuvaShakti to build a #SashaktBharat!

With a view to give opportunity to the youth to serve the nation for a short or long duration in the Indian Defence Forces by being #BharatKeAgniveer, Agnipath Scheme launched.

There will an optimal balance of Josh & Hosh , by imbibing mental agility, camaraderie & discipline in the training of Agniveers. #BharatKeAgniveer

Agnipath will create future ready soldiers. Agniveers will have a unique resume that stands out from the crowd. #BharatKiAgniveer

Indian problems require Indian solutions. With India being one of the youngest nation, it needs to be reflected in the Indian Armed Forces. #BharatKeAgniveer

Agnipath scheme will be a transformative reform that will train the youth in latest defence technology for optimal amalgamation of 'josh' & 'hosh'. #BharatKeAgniveer

An Agniveer would become more diverse, more tech savvy and more dynamic. #BharatKeAgniveer

Post 4 years of service by Agniveers, they can voluntarily apply for retention within the army, which will be done on a merit basis. #BharatKeAgniveer

Agniveer will be offered a salary package of ₹4.76 lakhs (approx.) in the 1st year with upgradation of up to ₹6.92 lakhs (approx.) in the 4th year. #BharatKeAgniveer

The 1st rally of Agniveers will start in 90 days. #BharatKeAgniveer

#BharatKeAgniveer will be giving an impetus to entrepreneurship, through skilling initiatives.

#BharatKeAgniveer are going to be trained and exposed within a highly technological environment.

#BharatKeAgniveer are going to be inherent component of the armed forces; through tailored training, they will imbibe the values of the forces.

#BharatKeAgniveer will be provided aviation & non-aviation training should they decide to join the Airforce as permanent service members. This will be part of an upskilling initiative.

With today's education & skill, the youth can adapt quickly to latest technology, Agnipath's aim is to train and expose them to opportunities to help them serve the nation through the Armed Forces. #BharatKeAgniveer
