Sanghi gaslighting is posting PDFs (of dubious veracity in terms of dates and legality) from U.P. to say "procedure was followed".

Police procedure is NOT due process.

Godi media tho is trying to "both sides" even this.

This 1966 paper is one of the best ones I've read about Nazis and bureaucracy. Given that sanghis are pretty much following the 1930s playbook of their old allies, it reads as if written about today's India.

Paperwork or bureaucratic stamps by themselves don't confer legality or constitutionality.

In fact rights are written into constitutions to prevent paperwork and bureaucracy and police from being THE final authority on punishing individuals. Cos that's how it used to be.

Dunno if the paper is open access, so I'm going to #FairUse screenshot some pages, because I'm drawing what I think is an important and terrifying and cautionary parallel.

No Indian can read this paper and not see detailed daily parallels to 1930s Germany. Every line almost!
