"Ladakh standoff cost China more. Look at its ‘chocolate soldiers’, big tech failure" theprint.in/opinion/ladakh…
"However, an important issue not debated or highlighted enough in most analyses is that the costs imposed on China have been more disproportionate. China has mostly suffered financial and psychological costs apart from the usual military ones."
"The current deployment has come at an even larger cost for the Chinese who have had to mobilise around 10 times more personnel from the rear to the forward areas in their Western Theatre Command, as against Indian mobilisation of around 3 times more personnel to the frontlines"
"India was supposed to be a sideshow used for the People’s Liberation Army’s (PLA) to practice its new theatre commands as well for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s directive of ‘training through operational action’."
"Since that move has been thwarted, China now faces a multi-front threat, a much more formidable challenge compared to India’s two-front threat, since the United States and even Japan have pledged military support to Taiwan against Chinese aggression."
"Closely following India, the US’ Commerce Department too made it hugely difficult for Huawei to procure semiconductor chips not only directly but also from companies that use US technology, hampering the entire Huawei supply chain."
"This twin move, compounded by Xi’s ‘self-goal’ in hugely regulating big tech in China, has devastated the Chinese digital empire.
"The Chinese PLA has had to scrape the bottom of the barrel while recruiting and the newly inducted personnel are neither hardy nor technically proficient to handle the brutal nature of war."
"The strategies to recruit them include video games and music videos. Soft peacetime ‘chocolate soldiers’ need extra comfort. This is a stark reminder that the Chinese experience of war is essentially null"
"Not only this, but after losing close to 40 soldiers during the Galwan clashes in June 2020, China has indulged in continuous information warfare against its own citizens. The entire wasteful exercise of 2020, which was essentially engineered to unilaterally stake a claim and
appropriate Indian territory, has shown no results on ground.
"Naturally, its propaganda machinery has been working overtime to ensure that the Chinese citizens do not question the PLA and Xi about this.

China’s costs have been mostly intangible yet intensely damaging and acute."
"Entanglements with India have cost China a lot and given a cause célèbre to other countries to stiffen their spines and oppose China on all fronts."

I had to look at it 3 times to confirm that the Madan Lokur defending Javed is a former Judge of the Supreme Court, who is now a judge in the Supreme Court of Fiji. Well! Well!
thehindu.com/opinion/lead/b…
It is clear that our judge from Fiji has concluded that Javed Mohammad is an innocent "activist", whose house has been "unconstitutionally" demolished.

Then, just in case, 'activist' Javed is found guilty of something more than innocent activism, Lokur provides a defence.
"In today’s interpretation of the law in some States, the tempter’s provocation is overlooked & the tempted found guilty"

In case you are puzzled by who the tempter is, it is none other than Ms.Nupur Sharma. It is good friend Lokur's case that 'activist' Javed was tempted into

You are full of confusion Doctor.

If we had an Islamic majority, India would have been an Islamic State like Pakistan, which murders Shias & excludes Ahmedis

India was, is and will remain a Hindu majority country.
It is because it is a Hindu majority country that you, and believers of all other sects of Islam, practiced & continued to practice your faith, from 1947 to 1976.

Thereafter, the word 'secular' was introduced in the Constitution.
'Secular'means the State is not connected with religious matters.
Following would be the consequences,if India was TRULY SECULAR.

* The State should not have selectively taken over only Hindu Temples/Lands & administration AS IT HAS, without touching mosques, gurudwaras etc

WHY BULLDOZING IS EVIL?

If I fear, dislike or detest someone sufficiently I can be convinced that it is extremely rational to use whatever force is at hand to quel them.

Nothing appears too extreme.

Not even bulldozing a house without warning or notice.
After all these people are creating violence across India..they are, women & men, demanding the beheading of a woman in secular, democratic India.

THIS, is the only way to teach them a lesson.

I think, at this point, we are already, well on the slippery path to perdition.
If you think these are crimes of fellow Indians which must be tackled through firm,strong... but just use of the law then STOP and re-consider what is being done.

Just remember this.

The people deciding to apply this level of force & intimidation ARE NOT the

How many people know:
* TN Govt. does not interfere in the functioning of churches or mosques, but the government interferes in the functioning of our temples through the HR&CE department. opindia.com/2022/06/tamil-…
Sri La Sri Harihara Sri Gnanasambanda Desika Swamigal of the Madurai Adheeam demanded " that the HR and CE department be disbanded, claiming that they had transformed temples into a haven for robbers and plunderers."
The seer said “Temples should ideally be given to us (Adheenams). Even if they don’t give them to us, a judge with a panel of lawyers should administer the temples. The panel will also consult pontiffs and local people. This is how temples should be managed.”

#FailedIntegration
"Sweden’s failed integration creates ‘parallel societies’, says PM after riots | Sweden | The Guardian" amp.theguardian.com/world/2022/apr…
"Sweden’s prime minister has said the Scandinavian country has failed to integrate many of the immigrants who have settled there over the past 20 years, creating a nation of “parallel societies … living in different realities”.
She has spoken the truth.
And it's time for all of us to face a very simple truth.

We think because we live in the same country, we share the same reality.

That is totally FALSE.

All of us live in our minds. If all that is fed into it is the same, we share the SAME REALITY.
