Under the Agnipath Scheme, the Agniveers will be enrolled for four years, and post-completion, 25% of Agniveers will be selected and enlisted in the Armed forces as Regular cadres. The outcome is not just an increase in strength but creating youths who will act as a

Agniveers between the age of 17.5 and 21 will be compensated with 4.76 lakhs per Annum to begin with, and the salary will be scaled up to 6.92 Lakhs in the 4th year.
