It rings a bell of what happened to me in 2018 when I was lied about, denied it, and in 0.1 seconds I was "quasimodo, so to speak" because any defense I attempted actually seemed to encourage further attacks and lies to be told
I was falsely accused, manipulated, to say I did things I didn't, paint myself, lie. Symptomatic, I projected onto other situations, made them and myself out, contrary to reality--should such surface in de context--I said what I will not repeat.
