A detailed thread on #AgnipathRecruitmentScheme

I will try & cover the benefits of the scheme to the applicants, benefits to the Armed forces, benefits to the Gov

I will compare this scheme with United States who along with other countries are facing recruitment crisis
Agnipath is designed in such a way that a soldier need not commit for longer service, he can enter at early age & exit at an early age wid corpus of Rs.20+ lac & above. This allows Gov to save huge expense of paying lifetime pension & diverting funds to military modernisation
Let's look at current recruitment setup whr the age limit is 16.5 to 21 & the new scheme has age limit of 17.5 to 21 which is now extended to 23. Service is of min 15 yrs & then he receives pension for life. Most retired soldiers work in private security agencies post retirement
In the initial proposal this scheme was designed for only 3 years which was widely discussed during April/May but when the scheme was rolled out it was revised to be a 4 yrs service which gives additional benefits to both the sides. Retired soldiers will get extra corpus in bank
Let us make a rough estimate that a soldier who was recruited at 20 & retired at age of 35. He has lost all vital years of his career & he is now out in job market. He has now crossed age limit of joining state police force & he is hunting for job, it will be even tough for 40+
So post retirement career issues always existed & his pension is not sufficient to run a family. Agnipath looks much more attractive whr one retires at 22 or 23. He has ample of time & money to build his new career. He has higher chances of getting a Gov job like CRPF or Police.
Gov has already declared that 25% will be recruited for further training & permanent role in armed force. Plus they will be getting 12th pass degree along wid Corpus & Army experience letter

Now lets look at United States which is running similar recruitment drive in armed force
United State is finding hard to recruit people in armed forces. Youngsters are more attracted towards job market rather than armed forces

Infact US has reduced minimum serving period frm 4 yrs to 2 yrs to make this scheme more attractive for youngsters to make money for future
Typical areas whr US is recruiting soldiers for short term:

-Infantryman
-Fire control specialist
-Air & missile defence crew member
-Human intelligence collector
-Signals intelligence voice detectors
-Psychological operations specialist
-Chemical, biological, nuclear specialist
US troops are often deployed in remote locations across the globe, Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq & now Eastern Europe. Whr soldiers are far away from families for years & one of the major reasons why youngsters are slowly moving away from armed forces & towards the job market
Not only United States but even Russia is facing shortages in recruitment & it has now started recruiting foreign fighters in Russian military.

Even countries like France & Germany are discussing compulsory military trainings for all, so that they are prepared to face crisis
Even Taiwan has been caught off guard & have realised that they aren't prepared to face a war with China if any such situation arises.

Similar problems are faced by Canada. With volatile world politics, it has now given big wake up calls for several countries to start preparing.
United States is offering post retirement corpus around 50k dollars, so that youngsters are able to fund their education & pursue their dream jobs. India certainly doesn't face recruitment crisis but we need more money for modernisation to face enemies like China & Pakistan.
Agnipath will help our armed forces to be well equipped with young blood. We can recall retired youngsters during war like situations. Trained individuals can be recruited in police force. They will also get cheaper education loans & insurance benefits. Hard to see any negatives
Conclusion
Agnipath scheme will also attract urban youth who can take military training before pursuing his dream career. In future we might hav million+ reserve force who can assist our armed force wid their skill set. 25% permanent recruitment is also big number

On India's No.1 Liar...
Shri Rahul Gandhi

In this thread I will try to cover how Rahul Gandhi is constantly lying & his lies are unopposed. No media or any of his allies has guts to question his words. Rahul Gandhi is always first person to add fuel to fire across India Image
Rahul Gandhi has constantly tried to instigate youth against the Gov.

In Congress ruled states like Rajasthan & Maharashtra, there is hardly any voice for youth. One wrong word against state gov & police will file multiple FIR & destroy your career

Does Congress support FOE? Image
When atrocities against Dalits are reported from Congress ruled Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi will state gov to make justice but when such incidents are reported from BJP ruled states then Rahul will BJP for such hate crimes against Dalits & incite Dalits to come on streets against BJP Image

My article to clarify on the recent allegations made by Shivsena & Sanjay Raut on @KiritSomaiya ji

I have researched about the INS Vikrant scrap deal & I will try to explain why the allegations made by Shivsena are baseless & vendetta politics to trap Kirit Somaiya
INS Vikrant is an iconic aircraft carrier from Indian Navy as it was the first in India. But this carrier had a poor run in Indian navy. There is an entire film 'Rustom' based on the corruption involved in the purchase of INS Vikrant. In 1997 it was decommissioned by Indian Navy
2013, Indian Govt decided to scrap INS Vikrant due to its high maintenance cost. There were no bids received for museum & govt had received a Rs.60 Cr bid for the scrap deal.

This is whr 'Save INS Vikrant' campaign began in Mumbai, whr ruling BMC wanted to convert it to museum.

My Op-ed on yesterday's attack on Shobha Yatras across many states.

I will try to cover why a particular community is feeling so agitated in the present scenario.

This is my personal opinion, so you can feel free to counter, make suggestions or add your own points.
Let's look at this situation from the recently concluded 5 state elections. Whr BJP won 4 states out of 5. The 5th state which was won by AAP has very less presence of that community, so it doesn't bother them much but the biggest state which has hurt them is Uttar Pradesh.
For almost 70 years they had a dominant presence in Uttar Pradesh politics, be it Congress, SP or BSP, they had a sizeable represention in the govt & in the assembly. But in post 2017, their presence from the assembly has diminished & this pattern will be replicated across India

I will present you my review about the movie & the plight of the Kashmiri Pandits, that media was or it is still hiding it from the public domain.

Around 5,00,000 Kashmiri Pandits were displaced & no one ever cared for their justice, political parties turned a blind eye
When the valley was burning, then Prime Minister of India should hav sent military to protect the ppl, then IAS officer Mithun calls PM for aid but PM replies saying J&K CM Abulla is my friend & I don't want to hurt him. Home Minister of India was Mufti Saeed, another Kashmiri 😑
Kashmiri Pandits were deprived of food, no body was selling them food grains, Kashmiri Muslim women were throwing away ration which was meant for Hindu families.

Muslim neighbors were giving tips about the hiding whereabouts of Hindu neighbors

BJP supporters on Twitter were once upon a time a very intellectual group of people who use to participate in fascinating conversations but sadly cringe elements has misguided the audience. Will try to clear few misconceptions which are constantly floating on our economy
Misconception 1

Hindus are exploited for tax

A) There are two main type of tax
Direct tax & indirect tax

Direct tax has 2 sub categories
Personal tax & corporate tax

India's total tax collection for fiscal year 2021-2022 is approx Rs. 40 lakh crores.

Let's see its breakdown
Direct tax collection is approx Rs. 15 lakh crore out of which 7 lakh crores come frm personal tax collected through income tax & 8 lakh crores comes frm corporate tax

Indirect tax collection by end of March will be around 25 lakh crores

Less than 20% tax comes from income tax

This thread is dedicated to one of the most underrated Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, whose tenure from 1998-2004 created a road map for the new India. We will discuss in details, his ideas, policies & vision which was far ahead of his era.
Iron Man of India🙏🏼
When we talk about Vajpayee ji the first thing which comes to our mind is the Pokhran Nuclear test. No PM before him had the courage to conduct a test & take the West head on. Nuclear test changed India forever & it was a stepping stone in India's journey to become Super Power.
Most of you must not be aware that conducting a nuclear test wasn't so easy. US Ambassador says after his meeting with Vajpayee in 1996, he was convinced that Vajpayee will conduct the Nuclear test & US ensured Vajpayee doesn't come to power. 13 days in office & his govt fell
