6th April 2018 we were born!

On this day, RBI imposed banking ban on crypto.

We came into existence the same day to spread the right information on crypto regulations.

Initially it was a MISSION without a commercial interest!

A ray of hope in those dark days!

2/

We were the first one who:

➡️Called out RBI ban as unconstitutional.

➡️Ran successful “Add Nominee" campaign for users of Crypto exchanges.

➡️Rolled out first Crypto education series (50 Videos)

➡️Brought first video series on #CryptoTaxation.

➡️Reported live the #CryptoVsRBI case directly from the Supreme Court.

➡️Helped numerous Crypto fraud victims.

➡️Filed representations and RTI Applications to Government authorities in public interest.

Why did we suddenly stop after June 2021?

After March 2020 when the Crypto side won the case, it was unlikely that the case will go back to the courtroom.

Government neither challenged the Court decision nor showed any intention to regulate Crypto.

As a regulatory media platform, there was very little to cover post that.

We were figuring out what to do now?

We had amazing community of 100K which trusted us. And we had built this trust through our legit work.

Many got many lucrative offers to shill stuff as ‘they’ knew the community trusted us, but we never compromised with our ethos.

Our founders were investing 70% of their time to this MISSION (that had negligible revenue attached to it!).

Few ideas were deliberated upon but that required huge funds and investors showed little interest because we had no plans of tokenizing it.

We kept patience!

We got couple of offers to sell our name as well!

These offers were lucrative, but we were able to sense the bad intention to fill ‘their’ pockets by misleading our trusted community!

So we said, NO!

And we kept patience!

When nothing was working out, our founders @simplykashif and @DaniAdvocate decided to follow their own paths but they did not allow anyone to misuse Crypto Kanoon at any cost.

It was better to keep the platform dormant and wait for the right time!

We kept patience!

Finally, the time has arrived!

In the next 2 weeks, you’ll see the announcement about the next phase of Crypto Kanoon!

We started with a MISSION TO SERVE CRYPTO FOLKS and next phase is nothing less than that.

The next phase will help millions of people in this space!
