In our pursuit to keep Kenyans safe, NPS officers were engaged in various law enforcement duties throughout the weekend.
Taking cognizance of the nexus between serious and petty crime's ultimate impact on national development, petty offense violators were apprehended to
2/4 keep our communities safe and secure.
Among the various offenses detected were dealing in illicit and prohibited brews, contraband alcoholic drinks, drug trafficking among other offences.
We urge the public, and especially the youth, to desist from engaging in such
3/4 vices to avoid contravening the law.
We appeal to members of the public, in the spirit of community policing, to continue sharing information with security agencies to make our neighborhood safe and secure.

CHANGE OF GUARD AT NAIROBI AREA TRAFFIC DEPARTMENT
There’s a time for everything under the sun, as the wisdom from the good book of Ecclesiastes says. This wisdom came to life recently when the Nairobi Area Traffic command had a change of guard from one veteran to the other.
Mr. Joshua Omukata, currently a retired Commissioner of Police, handed over the baton of Nairobi Area Traffic Enforcement to Mr. Vitalis Otieno, CP. Managing traffic enforcement within Nairobi Metropolis is sheer madness, and needs seasoned officers made of steel.
Incoming Traffic One, Mr. Otieno is well cut out for the tough assignment having had prior stints and advanced training in the field.
To Mr. Omukata, our best wishes as you transit to meaningfulness, wishing you good health and abundant wealth in retirement, well deserved.
MULTI-AGENCY SECURITY TEAM IN MARSABIT RECEIVES A COURTESY CALL FROM KNCHR.
Yesterday, the Multi-Agency security team in Marsabit received a courtesy call from the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), led by the commission's Vice-Chairperson, Dr. Nyeris Raymond.
Speaking during the meeting, the County Commissioner for Marsabit, Mr. Paul Rotich emphasized the need for continuous sensitization of the residents on the importance of surrendering illegal weapons to authorities to achieve lasting peace in the area.

On 21st June 2022, the Multi-Agency security team in Marsabit held a successful security meeting with the Marsabit Interfaith council at Marsabit Township.
2/5 The forum was aimed at taking stock of the operation's achievements and developing a framework to ensure that peace prevails before, during and beyond the upcoming General Elections.

In pursuit of peace and security in Marsabit County, the multi-agency security team engaged in various law enforcement duties over the weekend.
2/6 The team conducted intensive patrols within Kargi Division,and recovered three Mark 4 Rifles that had been surrendered to the Chief of Kargi Location by the elders.
3/6 In addition, the security team stopped and searched two motor vehicles between Segel and Kargi, they arrested the drivers and a suspected illegal alien of Ethiopian origin.
Healing the Boot tournament has been a platform of transforming the lives of officers through stress management education, dealing with job related challenges and promoting a good relationship between the police officers and their commanders.
