#ExposeChristianSchools is the hashtag to look at now.

I was once enrolled in an independent fundamentalist baptist school due to it being the "cheapest" private school my parents could afford.

A result of a mass disinvestment from Florida's public school system.

That school, Westwood, has official ties to Bob Jones University, the infamous unaccredited college that held onto a ban against interracial dating till 2006.

This school also had a majority of Latine brown students.

In schools like this, Christian schools all, queer kids are
forced into the closet and made to hear about how unnatural and hated they are every. Single. Day.

The teachers in these schools often teach outright lies about History, Science, and English.

At Westwood, Indigenous genocide was praised for "bringing Christ" to Indigenous peoples.

Slavery was also seen as a small price to bring Christ into Black people's lives.

To the teachers of Westwood, most of whom have unaccredited degrees from Bob Jones, Pensacola Christian, and other horrible abusive universities, the Earth is only 6000 years old.

Abortion is murder comparable to the Holocaust.

And everyone outside their church is Hellbound.

This is what the Supreme Court is saying should get YOUR taxpayer money. THIS is what the Court has ruled, 6-3, as being worthy of federal assistance.

And one last thing?

Westwood was founded in 1956, 3 years after Brown v. Board. In Miami before mass refugee exoduses from Cuba and other Latine countries.

It's a segregation academy.
