It’s crazy how Democrats spent all of 2020 saying we needed to vote for them to save democracy, and since they’ve been in power democratic institutions have been falling left and right. From voting rights, to reproductive rights, and LGBT rights.
It’s becoming more and more difficult for me ti believe Democrats don’t have the same agenda as Republicans. I’m watching who the leadership backs, what rights they’re fighting for. Democrats gotta have the same agenda. They got to. They move like they do.
I genuinely do not care what you say about Republicans and their clear agenda towards right wing Christo-fascism. There doesn’t seem to be any fight against that by Democrats. I’m not seeing it. I no longer care what they say when I see what they do, or in most cases don’t do.
Why wasn’t voting rights, reproductive rights, housing rights, union rights, why weren’t any of these things protected when Democrats had the power to do so? Why was there never a 50 state strategy to grow the party even on a state level to combat Republican right wing extremism?
I have no choice but to believe it’s because they have the same agenda. They know crime is down and more police doesn’t keep people safe. They know cutting into education, arts and community programs hurts communities, they still do it. I SEE what’s happening in blue states.
I SEE how the Democratic Mayors are moving in solid blue states. The cutting and closings of schools, defunding programs they know help and funding a police state from the ground up. From state to federal there’s no real opposition to what we face and this shit is frightening.
