Guys, there's an update to our Coub.com Communities and content publishing rules.

Let's face it — we always had a bit of a love-hate relationship with #NSFW coubs.

1/🧵 With only a fraction of coubers appreciating 18+ content, you won't believe how many awkward moments we had over the years with NFSW coubs ending up in the wrong Communities and upsetting other viewers.

2/ 🧵 As our global community proliferates and becomes more diverse, we'd like to make sure everyone may have fun and enjoy Coub.com safely without any unpleasant surprises and questionable imagery.

3/ 🧵 As of today, we decided to discontinue the NSFW Community at Coub and began removing the related content. No action is required on behalf of the users who used to upload NSFW content.

4/ 🧵 These coubs will be available via direct URL until Monday, June 27th, if you'd like to download any of them! However, Coub.com will not accept such content from now on.

5/ 🧵 Revised and detailed community rules are coming soon; stay tuned.
