Sorry, this is an obsolete viewpoint. Normie liberalism is RIP. Voting for principles is gone, now it's all about electing whoever is strong enough to protect you from the enemy

Torching one of the left's most sacred cows will do more to strengthen support than lose it
Hard to overstate how hard the regime's authority is collapsing. Getting Trump out of office was supposed to restore normalcy

Instead we have a presidency far worse. In every dimension

Shit's gotten so real that Hispanics have been polling identically to whites this year
Hard to express how insane that is.

This era is a phase shift in American politics. The very fact a sacred cow has just been slaughtered proves it. The Dems can't provide prosperity—and normal people hate their culture war, too

Kicking Roe back to the states won't undo that.
Again, you've got $6 gas, record inflation, a failed war in Afghanistan, a bizarre proxy war in Ukraine, trans ideology in grade school, upside-down levels of affirmative action in what was supposed to be the American Dream

Every part of which is a core value of the regime
Normal people are getting crushed by every layer of this. No one, until now, ever did anything real to fight what led to it

Do you really think the midterms are gonna flip *back* to rallying behind this deranged ideology because the Court *agreed* with normal Americans?
Even ten years ago, repealing Roe would have led to a massive Blue Wave.

But way too much has gone way too wrong way too fast for it to be more than a minor swell in their Current Year dystopia. It's now more likely to be a battle flag for us than it will be one for them.

The difference is that Bush was a neocon—a globalist—while DeSantis has picked up the Mandate of Trump, and wielded it like someone who actually cares about his own citizens

That simple act of leadership has flipped Florida to a red state. Crazy how simple it is
Just an idiotic take. These people are so far behind the curve

Bush was an active enforcer of the regime. That's why your class worked hard to rehabilitate his image during the Trump years. You *want* the cons to go back to GWB-style politics—losing ones

People have hated the cons for decades because the R's never did anything to lead them, protect them, showed that they even *understood*

The cons were never on our side, that's why they always lost. That's why you actually hate DeSantis ruling his state like a king

"Why does it feel like the UN is trying to turn us all into bug-eaters" was one of my first true schizo moments, many many years ago

And if I never contribute anything else here, being one of the front-runners of this will be among my proudest deathbed achievements
They've wanted this for like *twenty years* now, it's always felt weird, "efficiency culture" overriding the simple fact no person ever *wants* to eat bugs

Fond memory of yelling at my brother at dinner table about this

Yet it just keeps getting pushed. This isn't at all new
A great deal of managerial culture is like this, it well predates Trump, Woke Capital, etc

Things like this have been getting "nudged" by NGOs for decades. Fully inhuman, but keeps pushing, and pushing, waiting until the stage was finally set

Almost too good to be true. A nationalist rant, from someone who's obviously a globalist

About someone getting banned for violating Twitter's anti-1st Amendment rules, who obviously doesn't believe in the American 1st Amendment, for their own nation
I dunno, if you hate "American Twitter," maybe become a nationalist?

Oh wait, nationalism is hateful, racist, and every other part of the ideology you've absorbed from your ruling state, Daddy America

Lmao sorry you're our ideological slaves. Keep slurping our narratives tho
Everything in this article is self-negating, fake. It's the embodiment of why I hate leftism. Love Australia as Australia, as the nation of Australia, apart from America.

You can't, because you don't believe in Australia. Fine: then get dominated by America. Deal with it

When drag queens were their own little subculture, no one cared. Trying to "normalize" them on kids was your mistake. You got greedy

When normal people have been reasoned into abnormality, you have to reason them back from it, step by step. Starting with the most abnormal parts.
People find drag queens in schools very very weird. It's not because there's something wrong with *the people*.

Finding solutions to all these other problems isn't just a matter of voting in a new guy. That's what we tried with Trump. How did the Drag Queen Party react to that?
Wait, you mean they mobilized their entire cultural behemoth to lie, impeach, and fortify all of democracy against his reelection, replacing him with CGIden, the guy running all of these disasters you're complaining about now?

Not sure what it's about, but people apparently have zero respect for dentists and then get really insecure when they find out they've been tricked into thinking someone's a dentist

Both these tweets were deleted and they're just the ones I've saved ImageImageImage
>pro-dentist guy deletes his reply before I can even like it

I dunno I'm not an anti-dentite but you're not making a very strong case here
My instinct is it's a kulak profession that doesn't require any Theory to pull off, hence why it attracts so much sneering from people who think I'm an idiot

But it *does* attract a lot of sneering, I've learned that for sure. Feeling for our dentist-bros

Hard to get across how grim this piece is. The College Experience was supposed to be one of the great rewards to get kids to buy into the regime

Adminning the student population into the same existence as the sterile bureaucratic state they're destined to join is a huge mistake
College is obviously sold as The Passport To Success. But that was always twinned with the idea it would also be your own personal four-year 1960s

A time when you got to cut loose, throw off the shackles They imposed on you since childhood, find your own thing
This promised kids a rite of passage, one of the only ones we had left, a bridge between childhood and adulthood, which humans seem to badly need, and in our time manifested as a years-long revelry

After that, you might have to get serious. But at least you got College first
